What a fun little stop this was! We were welcomed to being our dogs inside but opted to sit on the patio as it was a nice day. The owners were super friendly. The place is well decorated and clean. They had a great vibe in there and even mid afternoon they were over half full. We both ordered wings and 1 order of fries. This was more than enough for us and the flavor was delicious! GREAT FOOD!! Stopped by on our way through town and was blown away by the Dante burger! There has to be more than 1/2lb beef on this baby because it is massive and oh so good. The beef is top notch, burger cooked to perfection, and all ingredients super fresh. While we waited for our food (super short wait time btw), we checked out the small provision shop by the entrance. Lots of really cool jewelry, mugs, and great smelling candles. We decided to eat in the restaurant area, but they also had a patio, and a separate area for the bar. Great setup for family dining or having a few drinks with friends. Definitely recommend checking out Sleepy Coyote! read more

This place did not disappoint whatsoever. Their food is just too darn good. I am a California girl who loves to travel to Wyoming and I love experiencing the great food and drink spots in the state. I am a HUGE fan of this cafe and bar. It is clean, the customer service is excellent and they have the best tasting food. I love the pool table in this establishment. I didn't have an opportunity to play but next time I come back, I will definitely try it. I really enjoyed my salmon salad, the fried pickles, fries and wings that not only I ordered but my friends did as well. I was able to try a little of everything and absolutely loved it all. This was probably the best burger and fries that I have had in a very long time. From the bun to the fries, perfect. So many restaurants try to get cute with the fries, battered, seasoned , wedges, etc. These were perfect 5/16 skin on long fancy fries. In my opinion the only ones that should be served, but are actually kind of rare. Great job! read more

Such a sweet stop in a tiny Wyoming town. They were welcoming, efficient, and the food was delicious!!! My husband reported the burger as top tier. And the kiddos enjoyed their fries, corn dogs, and chicken tenders. My salmon salad was fresh and flavorful. The adorable gift shop was a bonus! This little place was absolutely amazing been in the restaurant business for 40 years and this place DOES it right ! Portions are good food is fresh and very tasty our family lives in Ten sleep and took us there while visiting the menu is displayed on a huge blackboard , hard choice on picking what to eat everything sounded great and they sure did deliver ,chicken sandwich, salmon salad , southwest salad and spicy cheese curds ! Can't say enough about this little GEM hidden in this little town . Local owned by a husband and wife team . They even have a adorable little gift shop with locally sourced merchandise. We were in town visiting over the 4th of July. They only had a very limited 4th of July menu instead of the full menu. Had I known this, I probably would've went to one of the other lil restaurants in town. Nonetheless, I had a cheeseburger and it was very good. We love the Sleepy Coyote! The food is wonderful and the staff, which I think is mainly family ran, are great. The place is clean, including the bathroom. They have a nice selection of food from salads to burgers and fries. It has a "gourmet" type feel but such as their salmon salad. Everything is cooked the way you like it and filling! Ten Sleep doesn't have much for restaurants but by far this is the one I will go back to every year! And, there's a little gift shop inside that is worth stopping and peaking at. When you done with your delicious meal, you can run across the street to Dirty Sally's for some Huckleberry ice cream! read more

4.5 star for this place we accidentally discovered on our way to Yellowstone national Park. After crossing the big horn mountain range we were super hungry, kids were starving. Great find in a little town. We stopped here because of Yelp reviews. Really nice young couple who own the place. Very clean both the dining area and bathrooms. They not only have a cafe but also in another room there is a bar. The hamburgers are big with fresh cut fries. My husband had a smoke salmon salad which was very good. I had a bite. TenSleep is a cute town of 200+ people. Glad it was on our day trip from Buffalo. read more

This was a delightful restaurant to stop in on our way through Ten Sleep. I had a refreshing blueberry, strawberry feta spinach salad with some a juicy burger on top. It was a special request and they were happy to accommodate. My partner had a delicious pulled pork sandwich. Great fries too! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through looking for some healthy options. They also had a cute little store with accessories made by local crafters. I've been coming to Ten Sleep for the last 6-7 years and I had never been in the Sleepy Coyote, unfortunately I was forced to go there because everything else in town was closed. I figured I'd give it a shot, the place looked nice when we walked in and I didn't mind putting my order in at the counter instead of being waited on, I proceeded to put my order in and the girl behind the counter told me the hamburgers were 1/2 pound and hand packed fresh by her daily, I ordered my cheeseburger and she only asked what fries I wanted not how do you want it cooked so I let it slide thinking they knew what they were doing and my friend ordered his burger asking for toppings (lettuce,tomato, onion) and we went sat down to wait for our food. Seemed a little long for burgers but I figured they had a couple other customers so no big deal, then out food arrived and needless to say I was seriously disappointed with the end result. My burger came out way over done and obviously shrunk because it was hardly a quarter pound as well as my friends that was with me, it was dry and hard to swallow brown and gray in the middle it was so over done. My friends burger came with no toppings he asked for and they apparently don't let their fries drain before they put them in the same basket with their burgers because my bottom bun was saturated with fry grease and a puddle of grease still still standing next to my burger that it couldn't absorb, needless to say that was my first and last time going in there unless it's under new management and they hire a cook that knows what he's doing ...I do not recommend this restaurant read more
