Very welcoming at the beginning from the woman working the bar! We ( me and my boyfriend ) asked to go play pool and she said it was no problem. In the middle of our game of pool a man walks up to me and asks if I'm 21, I reply and say no we are both 19, he proceeds to say we can't play pool because it's next to the bar, I say okay that's fine and I go over to my boyfriend to relay the information. The man then comes up to my boyfriend and starts acting very rude saying things like "there's laws against this you know that right?? I'm not willing to lose my liquor license over you two playing pool" all while we were actively leaving, mind you I made sure to let him know that we were UNAWARE that we weren't allowed to play pool. I'm sure this place is okay but I personally am not one that likes to be receiving hatefulness when it's not necessary. Shame on him! Not the WYO love and community I grew up around. read more

Had a great steak. They were slammed, but the staff moved quickly and the rib-eye was excellent. They have Ten Sleep Brewery beers on tap. Cowboy poppers are amazing. Fries were good, but my wife ordered mashed potatoes as her side and they were amazing. This is a definitely an out of the way place to go for lunch as we were just passing through on a trip. On the edge of town, depending on which side your going, it's hard to miss. Good standard saloon food with appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burger, as well as entrees. Fried Mushrooms were in a decent batter fried to a golden brown with the dipping sauce. The chicken strips were actually two good size breaded white breast meat fried up. The Ten Sleep Saloon Burger comes with bacon, cheese & tangy BBQ sauce on a very good egg kaiser like bun. The burger was freshly made and cooked to med-rare & and grilled nicely. Plenty of shoestring fries came with this burger. Worth a stop for lunch when you're on way to West or East of Wyoming. read more

This was such a delight to find on our road trip. My boyfriend and I stopped and ate lunch here. It was a first time out since the COVID-19 crisis. They had a great beer selection. Welcoming atmosphere, everything was clean, clean, clean. Nicest bathroom in 100 miles. Drinks: abfab, everything from Bud/Coors to local IPAs to Bloody Mary's made with house-infused jalepeno and onions. 12 beers on tap! Great place with a lot of local character. The wooden store front and the wooded interior and local artifacts are great. The steak was excellent and the local beers tasty and plentiful. Only issue is the smoking still allowed at the bar. read more

Personally I like the atmosphere of older bars in small towns. They have personality. In this case, it also has pretty decent food at fair prices. Staff was friendly and really hustled to provide good service. Add to this mix the tasty beer made in Ten Sleep you will understand why I recommend you give this place a shot.
