The humble burger; quintessentially as American as food can get. Simple yet can get complicated. When done well, it can be heaven in your mouth. When not done well, it can be like the rocky roads of hell in your mouth. Came to Edgewater Market for lunch last week with family. I really LOVE a good smashburger but over the last several visits to other places, I've been grossly disappointed. Dry, rock hard burgers. My nephew decided to order these (while I stayed away and got something else from another vendor). He offered a bite which turned into a half slider. It was SO GOOD. Felt like having a burger dinner so went here 2 nights ago. Folks, the meat they use seems good quality. The perfect mix of having the crispyish exterior while the interior was juicy (seriously, as I bit into the burger, juices were flowing) hit the spot. So many variations in terms of toppings. I still loved the good ole American burger; tomato, cheese and a bit of their sauce. For my vegetarian other half, there was a surprise. They can replace ANY BURGER with their vegetarian patty. And check this out; the patty is NOT the impossible burger type. It's made of veggies, beans and grain. The crisp on that baby on the exterior too was so good. We also ordered the truffle fries which were EPIC. My only nitpicky complaint on the fries would be (or rather suggestion) is that instead of serving the fries with the topping on the top, maybe if they mixed it while they are mixing the seasonings in the bowl 'might' be better? This would prevent the fries from getting soggy when they get cooler. To top it off, the gentleman and the angel working there were just so nice. We had a few questions and they answered those with a smile; made us really feel welcome. Sadly I leave in 3 days and won't be back till next year but I'm going to try and see if I can get one more fix before I leave. read more

These sliders are perfect. I like that you can pick and choose to build your own set, allowing you to try their different flavours. Located in a food court with a ton of other options and lots to see and do, it was a fun place to spend time. There was lots of seating and a station for water available. Service was great and really fast. If I could go back for one of their sliders, it would be the steakhouse. read more

Awesome burgers with a side of rude employees. You place your order on a touch pad, which froze in the middle of the order. The girl working was very annoyed to have to actually speak with us and place our order manually. We specifically said the order was "to go". You get a text when your order is ready. We walked back and there, and the order sat on a plastic plate. We simply said can we have it to go. Oh boy, that request was a super bad idea as she handed the plate back to the cook who visibly was mad as she wrapped the burgers and put them in a bag. I was scratching my head at the entire experience. Please see the pricing board as it really makes no sense to order just one burger. The taste was way above average, filling and actually one is plenty to fill you up. read more

Edgewater Public Market is a pretty cool place; as one of my friends put it, a "hipster food court." Slideshow is located inside of Edgewater Public Market, in the far right corner. You can either place your order online or, online lol. When you walk over to their booth there is a touchscreen to place your order. There were staff in the kitchen but none were stationed behind the counter to assist or answer questions. You enter your phone number at the end of the order and receive a text when your order is ready. The "Pick any 2 sliders" deal is not actually a deal when you do the math; $10.75 vs. the $10.50 ordering a la carte. You do save when you do the "Pick any 3 sliders" deal; $13.75 vs $15.75. I decided to order the Fig and Goat Cheese and Popper sliders and regular fries. The regular fries are heavily overpriced at $6.75; they cost more than the sliders! They were standard fries as well; nothing special about them. Fig and Goat Cheese: The fig and onion jam was savory and slightly sweet. The goat cheese added a nice, salty contrast for a tasty slider overall. Popper: You can't go wrong when you put cream cheese on anything and that applies to burgers/sliders as well. With several different flavor combinations, the sliders are a solid choice. Skip the fries/order fries elsewhere, though. read more

Really yummy food stall in Edgewater Public House. We had the Thai chili fries which a good portion for two people and were really great. We tried the OG, Beast, Southwest, Caprese, Steakhouse, and Fig and Goat cheese. The Caprese and steakhouse were standouts for sure. The beast was also good. The other ones are also solid choices. I got the 3 slider meal. It was more food than I expected. The best one I tried had dates and goat cheese. The flavors were strong and the ingredients were fresh. The next best one had jalapeno. The last one I tried was ok, I think it was a bbq style slider. They had a ton of options, so next time I'll try others. read more

I like that you select multiple burgers in a three piece slider deal. But, the reason for the 2 stars is based on the overall flavor of the burgers. They all were unique but tasted like something you could easily make at home. I was not satisfied with them, won't eat there again and would not recommend. If you dont plan on getting anything from here, at least get the fries. They are absolutely delicious.. The original fries would be my choice as the Korean fries didn't seem to have a hint of Korean. Sliders were really tasty too - especially the beef one with sweet chili sauce! read more

First off, before it sounds like I'm slamming the place, the sliders were preeeettttty good, but had 2 issues that made it less than stellar. Super tasty, big enough to not finish them, really good flavor combos that weren't just out there bonkers for the sake of novelty. Satisfying, hearty, all that good stuff. It was a little slow getting the order but we were there on a Saturday, behind a group of teens, and teens can really strap on the feedbag, so I get it. We got 2x 2 mix and match slider baskets, a Southwest, OG, Hawaiian, and Popper. But...then noticed after we paid that the "Mix and Match 2 sliders" is actually more expensive than just buying 2. The Mix and Match 3 DOES make financial sense, but why even do a 2-burg basket that costs more than just 2 on their own? It's only like a quarter but it kind of feels silly on principle and I wish I'd noticed before paying just to avoid being like "oh duh". The Popper burger did have a giant slab of cream cheese that didn't really melt even a little so that was kind of texturally weird. But all the sliders themselves tasted really good and fresh; you could see them being cooked. Also ordered the everything bagel fries but didn't get told til we were called up that they were out of scallion ranch. Which is too bad because I wouldn't have ordered them; that ranch would've *chef's kiss* really tied the whole thing together. I was given ketchup instead which is a real demotion, sauce-wise, especially for someone who hates ketchup. The fries, despite the seasoning, were a little dry and bland without it. You order from a screen thing, which normally I'm down with, but I think that was why we didn't find out til after we got our food that one of the items was out. I would've gotten those Brussels sprouts I had my eye on instead. Sometimes that human touch is appreciated! That being said, 2 sliders was more than enough, for both me and my hungry hungry husband, and the fries were pretty huge, too. We didn't finish but that's ok. read more

Best pork I've ever had in the Hawaiian slider. I don't normally order pork, but for some reason this slider sounded really good. Glad I tried it! I had to eat half the meat with a fork before I could pick up the slider because there was so much meat. The fries were excellent. The sliders were absolutely disgusting and tasted like trash. I didnt want to rude to the person who bought them so we ate them, only realizing no one liked them after we finished. They most specifically tasted like old oil and fish.
