My fiancé and I spent a lot of time here during the Dutch World Cup watch parties (between the two of us we likely spent over $1,000). Yes, it was packed, but the atmosphere was fun and people generally made room whenever servers needed to get through. One waitress, who several people had already described as rude, forcefully plowed straight into me to get through the crowd. This wasn't a light brush or accidental bump--she hit me hard enough to knock me aside, never said "excuse me," and never apologized. Rude service is one thing. Being physically shoved by staff is another. A few minutes later I approached her and said, "I know it's busy, but you can't just plow through people--just ask us to move." Instead of acknowledging it, she argued with me. A little later the manager, Chris, came over and immediately accused me of making her cry, told me not to speak to his staff again, and basically said I could leave and never come back. He never once asked what happened or wanted to hear my side. I've worked in restaurants and bars for over 10 years, so I understand how hectic these environments can get. Being busy doesn't excuse forcefully shoving customers or treating them like they're the problem. The food has also been mediocre every time we've eaten here, so there's really nothing bringing us back. There are plenty of better bars in Denver with better food--and staff who know how to treat their customers. read more

Only blemish on this place is the lack of parking and the inside was a bit dirty. BEAUTIFUL outdoor space with plenty of tables and a fire pit. On the side of a road, but never seems loud. Inside there are tables, a bar, and plenty of TVs. Ordered the jalapeño pretzel bites: baked to perfection, not too spicy, and the queso and mustard dipping sauces were on point. Also ordered the fried cheese curds: huge portion for an appetizer and the strawberry jam that came with it -- yummy! We LOVE this spot. Such a good neighborhood go to. Beer is always cold and burgers are always good. I've had the mushroom burger, and bbq burger. The sweet potato fries are always a hit. The service is consistently good. It's a sports bar vibe, pretty lively. The only downside is how loud it can get during the games (go sports). We usually opt for outdoor seating in those cases. I came in with 5 friends around 7 PM on a Wednesday. The place was hopping, but we were still able to be seated right away. Our server was super nice and the service was great. We ordered beverages, which came out right away, followed by our meal. We mostly all ordered some form of burger and fries. Tasty, and the fries somehow managed to stay warm for 20 minutes or so. Went here during Denver Restaurant Week with family. Parking... does not exist. It's a very busy neighborhood so plan on parking a couple blocks away and walking. Since we were doing the restaurant week menu we had an idea of what we wanted to order. They were offering three courses (appetizers, entrees, and dessert) and took our order for all three at the beginning of the evening. I got the bbq crispy chicken wings, burger with a side of fries, and the ice cream sandwich. I thought the bbq chicken wings were great! Nice portion sizes and wonderful flavor! The burger was nothing special. I got a few of the toppings on the side so it turned into a cheeseburger with fries :) very juicy! They have a wonderful burger however the entire restaurant smells like flatulence. We had a reservation but were seated right next to the entrance which was propped open on the coldest night. Our party had to wear our winter coats. We asked to sit in the back room which had at least six tables of open seating and were told that they could not accommodate people there because two large tops had been seated. We were placed in the bar where music was blasting. I was a server for six years and a host for two. The same servers serving the bar were serving the back room. Ok! Saw this place on here and it looked good. The wife and I drove down to Denver for the afternoon. The hostess was super friendly and seated us quickly at a high-top by the bar, which was great. Our server came by promptly, and we ordered two sodas and the cheese curds--they arrived hot and were really good. We then ordered two smash burgers, one with fries and one with onion rings (+$2.50). The burgers were solid, though the dill sauce wasn't really our thing. Unfortunately, the onion rings came out cold and rubbery, so we sent them back. We also ordered two sides of ranch. When the bill arrived, it totaled $75, which was surprising. There was a 20% staff surcharge added (not listed as a tip), and no one mentioned it ahead of time. I also didn't see it clearly noted on the menu. On top of that, we were charged for the onion rings that were sent back and for three ranch sides instead of two. I wouldn't normally make a big deal over a couple of small overcharges, but between those issues and the additional ~$12 surcharge, it really added up. It feels like you now have to double-check for extra charges that aren't clearly disclosed. Service was genuinely great, but the food issues and billing confusion took away from the experience. Hopefully this is something they can tighten up going forward. 3 stars for the burgers and the service, the 20% service tax gets 0 stars. read more

Good little sports bar! It's a chain throughout Denver and gets the job done to watch some sports and have a beer. The service was great; quick and efficient. My girlfriend and I ordered to go from here. We had never eaten here before. I got a burger MR it came so well done and dry that it disintegrated in my mouth. Also, my green Chile fries were smothered more in Pico than green Chile and the Pico was mostly onion. Finally, my girlfriend ordered a wrap and subbed the hot honey ranch for regular ranch, but it wasn't changed and she can't do spicy and it was so hot for her...so also only took one bite. I only tried a bite of the burger which was delicious the sauce on it was slathered on pretty thick and it was a messy but wonderful bite. The french fries were good but not as crispy as I personally like my fries to be. Double check every line of your receipts here!!! They charge a 20% gratuity on ALL checks and don't tell you. My friend and I went, it was just two of us, our bills were less than $20 each, so this wasn't a large tab or group. The only reason I noticed that they had already charged us a tip was because we used a coupon and the bill should have been only 2/3 of what it was. I can't even imagine how many customers are paying 40% tips because they don't realize. Super unethical. Restaurants - instead of hiding higher prices in surprise fees, increase your menu prices so customers actually know what they are paying for. And if you are charging for service on the bill, tell your customers instead of tricking them into double tipping! read more

My wife and I dined at the Tap and Burger in westminster. My wife got ill after eating there. Service was fine the food for me was.good but two beers, one cocktail and two burgers witha 3% automatic service fee totalled $100 before tipping my server. Bottom line not worth the price.
