We took her native country's health records to them and they did the exam. All seemed to go well. And we were glad there weren't any additional shots needed to complete the USCIS requirements. We submitted the paperwork to the USCIS it was rejected and returned as incomplete because PicMed hadn't given my wife the additional shots she still needed to meet US health requirements for citizenship. When I called them about the issue they denied they had done anything wrong! They just passed me off to a manager who was quite rude. Then never offered to make it right by administering the needed shots! Needless to say, we had to complete the medical evaluation AGAIN but had to drive to OKC to get the requirement completed! We PAID total of over $500 + $100 for the interpretor to Picmed-Tulsa. Then we had to pay over $500 + $100 for another interpretor + travel expenses for the exam in OKC. It's difficult and expensive enough to go through the immigration process with the USCIC. But PicMed-Tulsa adder insult to injury when they deny fault and cause is to double our expenses in an already costly and process. This is even harder to take when PicMed-Tulsa is on a PRESCRIBED EXAM PROVIDER for the USCIS. I could only imagine the kind of fraud they perpetrate on poor people who come to the US, trying to enter legally, when neither husband nor wife can speak English!

It is so much easier to navigate this clinic than it was to do even my smaller St. Francis one that was not n the hospital with my former PCP. My mom an sister both have mobility issues and this clinic makes it so easy to bring them. They can even do a lot of lab work onsite, and help with things like family planning, weight loss, vaccines, and other services that I did not expect to get from this little clinic. Definitely check this place and their offerings out, especially if you are struggling to establish a PCP (Tulsa takes forever with getting in your first time with a PCP) or if you have a high deductible.

While I was with the nurses preparing for the procedure, Dr. Briggs walked in and asked, "How are the hiccups, are they getting any better?" I told him no. His response was, "Sounds like you're going to have to deal with that the rest of your life." In that moment, my heart sank. I felt like all hope had been ripped away from me. I held back tears in the room, but inside I was completely shattered. The thought that I might have to live the rest of my life like this was unbearable. After the procedure, I sat in my car and broke down, sobbing from the devastation of his words. But deep down, I know this isn't the end of my story. With the right doctor and God's will, there is hope. I will never return here again.

I called, said who I was, that my daughter was a patient there and I'd like a shot too. The response--"of course we'll schedule you. Would you to go with her?" How often do you receive that kind of customer service.? Shortly after, I changed doctors. For a lot of us midtowners it's convenient. And it's complete.
