This ain't a herding cattle production, this is a boutique one on one experience with the owner. Veronica is knowledgeable, professional, and an amazing communicator. She could be charging more for her services in some fancy get up, but she keeps life simple and humble and we get to benefit for her choice. You will not get her level of quality in some "resort spa". Additionally those places are so fake and pretentious. Give me Veronica over a resort spa any day of the week. Veronica is so cool, like the person you'd actually like to have drinks with. She's got stories for days, which is nice because you don't think about the waxing. If you are a Karen, just go to a resort. Don't mess it up with Veronica for the rest of us. I can't believe some of those reviews from people who don't know how to follow direct and simple directions. Ever…read more I have a strong history of skin cancer in my family, and after spending the last two years in the Caribbean sun, I wanted a skin cancer screening. I emailed to make an appointment with Dr Martha Garcia. They didn't have anything open for 6 weeks. But they offered to put me on a cancellation list. Less than a week later I received an email offering an appointment the next morning. I arrived to my appointment and the receptionist was very friendly. I waited less than 5 minutes, and I was back with Dr Martha. She was so sweet and so pretty, that you immediately feel at ease. Then she did a full all over body cancer screen for me. It was the first time I felt like someone truly looked at my skin thoroughly. Usually my doctors do a quick glance. She used a tool that can detect abnormalities not seen with the naked eye. Afterwards we discussed the signs of any future melanoma growth, and of course prevention. Lastly I asked her advice for just vain skin care... she described in detail what I should consider and suggested product brands for here and even what I can obtain in the US. She was one of the nicest, most thorough, professional doctors I have ever met. And that's saying a lot, since I worked in the medical field for 14 years!! She was worth every penny!!! They had a sound bowl to mark the start and the end of the massage for a very gentle bookend for the treatment. It was truly one of the best massages my partner and I have had and we indulge in the treatments when we travel and even at home. My masseuse was very discerning and found tight muscles I didn't even realize were giving me discomfort. After the massage, we relaxed with some hot tea they provided. The whole establishment was just incredible and the staff, each and every one of them, was professional, kind and accommodating. Come to find out, our masseurs were legally blind and we didn't know until after our massages. However, I could tell that they were more guided in using their hands, by the way they felt for the tension/knots in my shoulders and back, and I was throughly impressed. This place is clean and well kept. And Heads up, no individual rooms, just an open space divided by curtains. A great no thrills massage, for reasonable price.
