This will be quick. Ate here while at the Middleton Brewery, truck is ultra clean and the woman taking orders was really nice. Sliders were good and def match the $4 price. My favorite was the knuckle something, tons of flavor. My issue with them was that it took almost an hour to get four sliders. The excuse was that there was a large order before us but even so that order came out 20 minutes before we got ours . From what I've read in other reviews this appears to be a problem so don't wait until you're starving to order, do it early so it comes out when you're ready to eat. read more

Great location, right outside of a brewery, right? Opens at 4 pm. Well, 4ish. Okay 4:20ish. The focus here obviously is on the sliders. Picked a few along with some fries. Despite us being the first customers, service was very slow. The person who was presumably the owner was somewhat underresponsive and didn't seem too enthusiastic about much. Those spiral cut potatoes?...Oh man, I dare you to stop with just one order. Thin, crispy, carby goodness with the perfect amount of seasoned salt sprinkled on...HEAVEN!!! As for the sliders, they were also excellent. Luckily I came with friends and we were able to order one of each, including the mini chili dog. I thought they were all good. But if I had to pick top 3, I'd have to go with Knucklehead, Buffalo Chicken, & Little Hot Dog. I'd rather not have to limit myself though. So next time I go, I'd bring foodie friends again and share like last time :D Note to self: bring a serrated knife. The truck owners allowed us to use their knife to divvy up our sliders. But, we had to use it in their presence and return immediately. Would just be easier to bring our own knife. Great products. Cheap prices. Friendly service. Love this truck! Over an hour wait on 2 sliders and a basket of fried pickles. Mr. Personality took our order and dropped an order flag in or faces and said it'd be right out. 40 minutes in, I went and checked on the order and was quickly brushed aside with a, "It'll be out in a sec." After another 30 minutes I finally got fed up and went to talk to them only to find out our order had gone to the table. "We'll cook it right now, sweetheart." was the response I got. When our food arrived.. Giant fried pickles(they were pretty good) but the side of ranch was in a container so small we couldnt even dip them in it. No silverware. The buffalo chicken slider was a chicken nugget on a piece of bread and nothing else. These dudes suck. The brewery we're at is BAD ASS and our experience here has gone to hell thanks to these Dudebros. read more

Maybe they were having an off day, but we had a pretty bad experience. It took over an hour to get 2 sliders and one basket of spiral cut potatoes, and the place was far from packed. The overcooked burger was so small it only filled half the slider roll and the onions and cheese were burnt to the point of being black and crunchy. I took a few bites because I was pretty hungry, but gave up on it. The buffalo chicken slider and potatoes were okayish. The folks working there weren't really even polite (not so much as a "sorry about the wait") or I would've added a star. I would never buy food there again. Holy cow. My guy and I decided to head for a drive to see some scenery...We were in search of lunch and a beer when we spotted the Slider truck outside a brewery...Score! I had the eggplant parmesan slider (Yep, it's a thing!) Eggplant parm is in my top 3 favorite foods so you can imagine my surprise when Slingin' Sliders not only made one but the best sammy ever! A tad messy which can be admittedly fun for us vegetarians who want to feel like they are eating a real burger. The eggplant was perfect, the cheese delish, and the bun to die for. We visited the Middleton brewery today for the first time. Slingin sliders is a food trailer outside. The owners that do the cooking were super nice. The food is GOOD. Can't wait to go back and try more of the sliders. Must try if you're in the area. Buns are great and their marinara rocks. Try the pulled pork!! read more

The pulled pork was PERFECT! The meat was tender and juicy, with the perfect amount of slaw and I haven't had a pulled pork sandwich like that in as long as I can remember. I am a huge BBQ fan and eat pulled pork sandwiches everywhere that I can. Being a food truck, I expected it to be slathered in BBQ sauce... But no. I will be back for more sliders next weekend for sure!! I should also mention that we also got the original which was delicious and the potatoes.... YUMMM! They said the owners were out so there were several items sold out and I would also like to come back for the Chicken Parmesan and Knucklehead sliders. We recently ate at the Gristmill in Gruene and my husband and I had a cheeseburger, the pulled pork sandwich and potatoes (very similar to these) for about $50 and that meal was no where near the flavor of these. read more

Sliders is a food tuck located seemingly permanently next to the Middletown Brewing. There is a limited selection of small bites with serious flavor. I was a little worried being the only option but I'm glad we ended up sticking around for some food. The pork slider was my favorite. They did an excellent job with the texture of the bun which really made the sandwich. The inside crust was caramelized perfectly to keep all the juices from the pork inside the sandwich which prevented sogginess and enhanced the overall experience. Also, the potato tornadoes are the perfect pairing to any beer of your choice at the brewery and are a unique approach to the fried arts. I would advise ordering before hunger sets in as it took longer than expected for our order to arrive but it was worth the wait. Thanks! read more

Even if you aren't drinking at Middleton, it's worth stopping in here for a Knucklehead. All their sliders are delicious and their spiral cut potatoes are extremely tasty and everything is reasonably priced. read more

Best sliders around! The Knucklehead has just the right amount of kick, and when paired with the spiraled chips (or fantastic thin onion rings), the gastronomic experience is complete. OK, add in a few of Middleton Brewery's fine ales and it is complete. Will be back for sure. read more

So I'm from Austin...I came to wimberley to visit a good friend and we went to Middleton brewing company to check it out the local beer. We decided to check out the food truck and HOLY WOW!!! We had chicken parmesan, eggplant parmesan, portabella mushroom, pulled pork, and a bacon burger slider. I'm the mostly vegetarian person so I tore into the mushroom and eggplant..they were uhhhmazing!!! The service was awesome! The marinara was some of the best I've had! One of my favorite Food Trailers in Central Texas. I wish they would either move up to the Austin area or open a new trailer. Everything they offer is wonderful. The specials are even better.
