Well as you walk in your greeted and you can notice they have adequate seating inside and it appears a few spots outside. If you pre ordered you can walk up and pick up your order. The menu is right above the counter and around the counter. The staff was excellent, even though it was a little busy but they kept their cool and prepared outstanding subs to the people in line. Now the reason for going out to eat, how is the food. I ordered the Big Paul sub, it was a delicious meal. The sub is made up of various meats which gives a fulfilling feeling and an abundance of flavors. The ingredients had such a fresh flavor and great taste that make these subs a step up to others. This place has great service and has even better subs, this place has a nice vibe and easy to get to. I honestly approve this place for your sub craving.

The business is easy to find and in the corner. When arriving inside we were greeted by the employees and went over the menu. I ordered the California Club and my girlfriend ordered the NY Italian. The combo came with a drink and a bag of chips. The place also offered military discount, so that was a plus. Once ordered we sat down and dug right in. It's a small business, so there isn't too much seating inside, but the do have outside seating on the side. The sandwiches were decent and had good flavor, but in my honest opinion, nothing too special. Was a little disappointed in the taste and believe the subs lacked flavor. But then again maybe I need to try the other sandwiches. But until then my review is 3 stars.

We had plans to get dinner elsewhere. The food was pretty good and fried to the right amount...but our order took over 30 minutes to make. We had to visit the gals at the truck a few times to ask them if our order was done, or if we were forgotten. The sweet gal taking the orders also said that they would bring it out when it was ready, but we waited a solid 30 minutes and decided to ask. I think they just forgot our order of chips and queso and fried pickles. Besides that, the experience was great. Their chips are great (I love the thicker tortilla chips!) and have a more solid crunch to them. The queso is on the lighter and thinner consistency side, which is always a refreshing texture. They definitely use a lighter cheese instead of a dark cheddar, as shown through the color of the queso. It's got a great flavor to it too without having any extra add-ins. A nice traditional queso! The fried pickles were average, but my bf is obsessed with pickles...so that was his impulse buy. Not sure if I would say this is a steady food truck that I would come back to outside of the brewery, but I'm glad it's at Guadalupe! Good choice for snacks and probably their po boys!

We intended to have 2 each but had to stick with one in order to function afterwards. I had the CFC Biscuit Benedict and you can customize it with spicy chicken or hot honey. I got the hot honey and it was perfect! It was so delicious I don't leave a morsel behind. My friend and I shared the salted caramel brownie for my birthday, and that was also delicious. I can't wait to come back here and this says a lot since I'm not big of fried chicken. Theirs is fried to perfection (soft on the inside and just crunchy enough on the outside). You're seriously missing out!

Last night I finally brought my husband to try it after hyping it up for so long, and unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. Things have definitely changed. I was really looking forward to the chicken fried chicken, only to find out they were completely out of mashed potatoes. For a place known for chicken, that was surprising. So I ended up just sharing some of my husband's meal and our appetizer. The cornbread has always been something I rave about, especially with their hot honey. This time it came out dry, and the hot honey had no heat at all. It just was not the same. My husband's fried chicken was honestly the worst part. It was burnt, with a layer of black under the breading, and tasted like it had been overcooked to the point of being charred. There is no way the kitchen did not see how dark it was before serving it. That said, his sides were still great, so at least part of the meal was enjoyable. Our friend's chicken sandwich was not terrible, but it did not taste fresh like it used to. It felt more like something frozen and heavily breaded instead of the quality we had experienced before. One positive was the service. Our server was wonderful, and the rest of the staff was kind and attentive as well. I accidentally spilled my drink right after it arrived, and they were quick and gracious to replace it even though it was completely my fault. That was very much appreciated. The other issue that really took away from the experience was the atmosphere. Halfway through our meal, a large group of adults sat in the courtyard and had their children sit separately at a table right next to us, while their parents remained in another section of the patio. The kids were clearly having fun and playing games, which is great, but they were also very loud and screaming just a foot away from our table while their parents enjoyed quiet drinks elsewhere. There were completely open sections of the patio farther away where they could have sat, so it was frustrating that they were placed right next to the only other table of adults trying to enjoy a night out. It ended up being very disruptive and took away from what we had hoped would be a relaxing evening. Overall, I was really disappointed. This used to be a place I highly recommended, but after this visit it feels like the quality and attention to detail have slipped. I truly hope they can get back to what made them so great before.

The plan was for the "kids" to go to the movies while she and I stayed at the house and babysat our adorable little 5 month old grandson. None of us wanted to be bothered with going out for dinner, and my wife doesn't like to do that on "special" days anyway because of the crowds. She decided I would go over to Jimmy John's and pick up. I went on the website and tried to have our order delivered since delivery was free that day with a special code. Even though my son's house is within two miles of the store, they don't deliver there. I called instead, but after being on the phone for about 15 minutes placing a huge order, the staff at the store couldn't set it up for delivery either. No biggie. I was just being lazy anyway. I told them I would pick up our order at 2:45. Like the old fart that I am, I arrived about ten minutes early. I told them what I was there to pick up, and one of the workers told me they were working on my order, and I should grab my cookies, chips, and drinks while I waited. She gave me a huge shopping bag and a drink holder to put them in. While I was finishing up with the drinks, the same young lady called me over and handed me another huge bag with our sandwiches at exactly 2:45! When I got back to the house, we all figured out whose sandwich was whose and sat down to eat. I was amazed that all 5 of the sandwiches were exactly what we ordered. I mean my clan has some picky folks. All but 1 of the subs was full of "hold the ????" and "add some ???". As we ate, we all talked about how good the sandwiches were. My son and daughter in law said that Jimmy Johns was their go to sandwich shop. I totally understand. I had the spicy east coast Italian. It was so loaded with meats that I could have taken half off and made another sandwich. Plus, they put some kind of mayonnaise or aioli on it that was dazzling! All of us had the barbecue flavor chips but my wife. who opted for regular. As far as I am concerned, that was her loss. These were the best kettle chips I have ever had. And, believe me, this fat man has eaten a lot of kettle chips! The oatmeal raisin cookies were also really good. I did not expect that. In my opinion most prefab individually wrapped baked goods are usually only so-so. Now, I have to figure out where my local Jimmy John's is here in San Antonio and hope it is just as good. I don't want sandwiches all the time, but when the time comes, I want a good one like the one I ate in New Braunfels.
