This place is amazing. My daughter comes here Monday - Friday for their day camp activities and…read moreafter hour day care. I drop her off at 8am and pick her up at 5:45pm. They provide the children with lunches, field trips, and snacks. My daughter loves the counselors and has made friends with the other children. As far as cost goes it is well worth the $79 weekly fee. I am, more than happy to pay it. The stress of having to find a trustful baby sitter is gone. I know the Santos Center will take very good care of my daughter and she loves going. Thanks guys!

Well, they apparently do not have the same lenient rules for online payment when it comes to people of darker skin color because as I had my friend on the phone, who, of course you guessed it does not have darker skin color. She told me on the phone, which the guy could hear in an ear shots because she was on speakerphone that she was let through without paying and he had her take a picture of the online payment for code for her to do it that way. I proceeded to tell him exactly what she's telling me and he's acting confused. He never showed me this paper clip or or acknowledges the fact that you could pay online at all. I tell him I need to go cause they're actually leaving soon, so can I just go and I will do the payment some other way, he continues to act weird and confused and like cash is the only way or or else he's not gonna let me go through. Then he says oh the rangers are gonna be stopping by, blah blah. so to end this so that it doesn't turn into me sitting there for 10-30 minutes. I had to tell him my plans to go there quickly and come back because I can't be here all day. They're gonna leave soon. I get to my friends and tell them this story and they confirmed that this is a very odd interaction and clearly probably has a lot to do with discrimination/ the way that I look. To add to this a very angry looking female Park Ranger was staring like somebody had just spit in her Cheerios like she was ready to fight someone maybe the only person of color at the park over six dollars...? You need to do better. This is ridiculous behavior in 2026 especially. They're lucky I probably can't sue for this stupid interaction. Only adding a star because it is a nice park/play area.

Situated on a country road with many wineries and we checked a few out. Close to many hiking and…read moremountain biking trails. Just 10 miles from downtown historic Jacksonville. The county park could be so much more - at least for the camping aspect. The day use area is pretty awesome. A few short trails and lots of places to lay down a blanket to sunbathe or take a dip or wade in the river. Tubing and getting wet in the river on a hot sunny day is the thing around here for sure. Good for picnics with barbecue pits and tables. Campground where we spent four nights with our trailer does need a little bit more care and maintenance. Mostly tenters but room for trailers and RV's around 30 foot max. Some tight turns between trees as the road weaves through the camp ground on a dirt road with some big holes. One of the night's or a 4-day stay was a loud and obnoxious party of peeps moving back and forth flashlights on between two campsites - that went on till 4 AM in the morning. How rude! We were a bit concerned about our trailer safety - a few shady and a few routy characters camped and I think the Ranger should have asked them to leave. The Ranger did speak with those disruptive parties a few times. The Ranger patrols in the evening were welcome. Another night music played too loud past midnight. Hello, quiet time is 10 PM! I like to enjoy myself and party too but not at the expense of being loud and disturbing to others after 10 PM. An on site host would help with noise and provide more safety. Most campers left their camp sites during the day for wine tasting, hiking, biking, fishing, and playing on the river. So, it would be nice if a host were there to keep an eye on campers trailers, RV's and tents. There is a host at the day use area making a few passes thru camp in the afternoon. Restroom maintenance needs a little improvement particularly in the Covid crisis, more sanitation and trash pick up frequency. We didn't use the restroom because we had our trailer. More attention to camp site tidiness and picnic tables is recommended. All in all, the campground is nestled in a stand of glorious trees of Madrone, pine and oak. Quite the outdoor experience for sitting in the shade of trees and around a campfire. Did I go in the river? Yes! It was so hot hot hot! Ole Ole Ole! Water cold cold cold! Ole Ole Ol! So so so refreshing! County parks can be hit or miss - in my experience - we get out on the road alot too. Stay with state parks for consistency! While the day use area is awesome, we spent most of our time at the park in the campground why I am giving it a 2-star, close to 3-stars with a possibility upgrading to 4-stars provided my recommendations are implemented. You can see they really put a lot of effort into making the place beautiful and charming. Once we entered the restaurant we were greeted by a server who was pleasant and welcoming. I believe her name was Christy. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the lodge and even the kind of trees in the area. It was all so intriguing. We were ushered onto a deck that over looked the rogue river with beautiful mountains the background. there were all kinds of wildlife just out and about, a doe with her two young, geese, wild turkeys...it was incredible. Once seated, another server I think her name was delanie came and brought us these things called orange rolls, which I have to say are by far the most delectable thing I've probably ever eaten in my life. She also took our drink order and asked if we wanted soup or salad. i chose soup which was delicious and my friend had the salad with which she raved about being the best salad she'd ever eaten. It all came from the garden the tend to up the road. No sooner than us finishing them our plates were cleared and within 5 minutes or so our entree's were served along with the lemon drops we ordered from the bartender Haily who was just amazing. We had the premium steaks that were seated on top of mashed potatoes and candied carrots. I've never had a better steak in my life. It just melted in my mouth. Each thing on the beautifully put together meal was a masterpiece by its self, but the flavors together complimented each other in such an exquisite way. The lemon drops were phenomenal as well. Just like with the soup and salad as soon as we were done our plates were cleared and we were served dessert shortly after. And once again the beauty of the dish was quite impressive. The chefs here definitely take their job to a whole new level. I had the chocolate plum cake and my friend had this apple bacon thing. They were so sweet and had a little happy birthday thing on my cake as well as lighting a little candle for me to blow out and make a wish. Of course with every bite came a burst of flavors that were so perfect together that I just wanted to savor it and take in each moment. Before leaving we went to thank the chef her name was Blanca , she was so kind and really happy we enjoyed the food so much. This place and these people definitely exceeded any expectations I had and I would recommend it to anyone. I'll definitely be returning every chance I get.

We came here on a Wednesday which we found out is Senior Day and it was very inexpensive for 2 of us with a cart. The next time we walked the course and had a blast! However there is a parking lot at the end of the route. My wife and I liked this course not only for the golfing challenges of this 9 holer, but also the owner and staff's willingness to help a couple "Out-of-towners" navigate the area. We came back a second time because of the nice time we had the day earlier. Brad keeps the rustic and rural locale in fine shape. The fairways can be tight and the greens might be tough but fair, but overall a rewarding outing.
