I contacted this business on Father's day around 4:30pm and Mark was amazing. He ask for pictures and then gave me a quote over the phone, he also gave me questions to ask other locksmith companies if I decided not to use SLS. Got a 6 Pm call from my grandson. The key to his 09 Honda Civic would not start the car. What to do? He called a nearby Firestone and they said they might be able to help the next day. Called for a tow; $75 for the hook and $4 per loaded mile. So to get it in the Firestone parking lot was $90. Next morning Firestone said they couldn't fix it. Called the Honda dealership and that repair w tax around $600. Plus another $90 tow. $700. Should have had the sense to look for an auto locksmith at the start. Found Simon at SLS and his price to replace the ignition module (what you put your key in) was $260. Fixed on the spot. For a few extra bucks they upgraded his key to one with a lock/unlock button. So what do you do when the key won't turn in your ignition? Don't call for a tow. Call Simon. Just bought a home and of course the first thing we wanted to do was change the locks; however, the doors wouldn't shut right and lock smoothly, and those two things had taken it's toll on the existing knobs and deadbolts to the point that the Seller's key would barely open these doors. This was definitely a job for a true professional. Simon with SLS Locksmith and Services came to our rescue!!! He assessed the problem with the existing knobs and deadbolts on both front and back doors. He replaced the deadbolts, doorknobs with locks, and corrected the problems with both doors so that the locks would open and close smoothly. UPDATE... What you did wrong was give a nasty attitude from the beginning. You were rude; and you had a smart comment about everything I asked or said. I never complained about your work. I said you had horrible customer service skills, which remain true. You stated that my review was false, and then confirmed everything I said in your reply. My deadbolt had broken on my back door and I needed a replacement. After searching on yelp, I came across this company, who had phenomenal reviews and decided to go with them. I called, asked them for a quote, and I was informed it was a $19 service call, and approximately $49 to install. I agreed. He was prompt, and I will give him that, but the attitude I got was second to none. My father was at my home to wait for his arrival. When I arrived I asked my father how much it was. My dad said it was $35 for the lock, and he interrupted and said "No! It's in now. Now its $49." I was so taken back by the rude comment that I didn't say anything. He said "How are you paying? Is it a card?" I replied yes. He said "Well, can I have it now?" Shocking. I asked him how much it was, and somehow we arrived at $104, which was a far cry from the $19 service call, and the $35 lock that appreciated in value after installation. I said, "Well, I saw you had a coupon on yelp..." and he interrupted and said "Yeah, but you can't use it because you didn't tell me on the phone." I said "I didn't tell you on the phone because the coupon was $100 for $125 worth of service, I didn't think we'd be this high on price given the estimate I was given." We went round and round and eventually he agreed to "cut me a deal" for $99. During this time he had already swiped my card. I simply asked him "How much did you charge to my card? Was it the $100 like the deal on yelp?" And he swiftly replied "Yeah, unless you want me to charge you more!" I was floored. I was so uncomfortable in my own home! I will NEVER do business with this company again! I will also advise anyone that asks for a referral to do the same. I called and asked to speak with a manager before placing this review, and he informed me that he is the manager, but "he will try to have someone call me back." my daughter attends a local university and was locked out of her vehicle. she contacted these gougers and was not told the basic fee. someone showed up and charged her $160 for a simple door lock pop and accepted cash in lieu of charge payment for a discount of $9.00. when she informed me I called the thug (who lied about their company name). he said their name is 24/7 locksmith and not SLS. he justified the going fee as the county charges them too much to operate. I then proceeded to call this listed number and a female answered without identifying the business name. she stated her manager wasn't there to receive the complaint but would call me back. NEVER heard from anyone. I called back later on and she lied about being the person that spoke to me earlier and then promised a call back from MIKE who is reportedly her supervisor. still NO ACCOUNTABILTY, NO CALL and my daughter was still stolen from by these clowns.
