This is my first chiropractic experience and so far it's been very beneficial for me. I came in with "pretty bad" lower back pain from a sports injury. Now (a few months later), I experience significantly less pain than before when I was trying to "self-treat". They did X-rays to help see what's really going on and then they developed a plan to attack the pain. They are very clear that it's a team effort; they'll do the adjustments and whatever else I need, but I also need to diligently do a series of stretches at home every day. They showed me exactly how to do the stretches so there was no guessing. I definitely recommend going here if you're experiencing pain. i've been going to see Dr. Jill ever since she began her practice in Harrisburg. My family also gets adjusted by Dr. Jill. i've recommended her to everyone at work when the conversation turns to a more preventative medical practice. I receive a weekly adjustment to maintain the range of motion in my neck that i didn't have for years, my seasonal allergies have diminished to a point that i no longer require medication of any sort and my lower back hasn't hurt for years. my life has been in the construction and military world and my body has taken a beating. Dr. Jill is amazing! She's taught us more about the spine than what the spine specialist at the hospital has. It's been quite a journey with her so far! I went in having to use a cane and I'm now able to go without it at home and church. I still use it in strange places or if I'm going to be out for long periods of time. They also do periodic reviews of your progress so you can see where you are from day 1. It's really amazing to see those numbers in black and white. You are not just a patient there. Dr. Jill and her staff are AMAZING!! I have been getting adjustments for a couple months and have experienced great improvements in my range of motion. I was in constant pain and my back had no range of motion. I grew tired of taking pain medicine to cover the symptoms and wanted an actual solution. I can highly recommend Slutak Chiropractic, as recently as today I went there in tears for the pain I was having from shoveling snow and then falling and just from my adjustment, and Dr. Jill's recommendation to do some stretching exercises.
