Well my wheels didn't have nearly enough grease from the factory so it's good I had them come by, they replaced bearings and adjusted brakes, I'm confident in their work and know I'm safe on the road. I have two restored vintage pickle fork hydros. I contacted Jim Wilkes YEARS AGO to get a rudder…read morefor my non-blown boat. He wanted me to send him the rudder from my blown boat to use as a template and I did. He said the new rudder would cost $575. I called him month after month and got nowhere. His wife was ill and he was concerned and I understood. Finally he stopped answering the phone and the messages filled up. I wrote him a letter in February of 2015 telling him if he couldn't communicate or make the rudder, at least send me back the rudder for my blown boat. If he was broke send it C.O.D. No response. Imagine my surprise to find him still in business after all this time. This guy cost me a $600 rudder and years of waiting. If his wife died or HE died, will someone PLEASE let me know.
