I was visiting Ninigret for the trolls (3 mins away) and highly recommend visiting the Umbrella Factory if you're in the mood for some whimsy and exploration. I do wished there were some more Ninigret/troll/Rhode Island-themed souvenirs, trinkets, or postcards at the shops. That said, I did purchase beaded earrings for $20, some glass mini figurines at $6/each, and a hair clip for $14. I felt that all the prices were comparable to what I'd find at pop-up markets in RI.

They've got it all, from kitschy doodads to clothing to huge beautiful hanging plants. They have a store that primarily sells odd sodas and candy. We got a bacon flavored soda, it was terrible but you gotta try a bacon soda if the opportunity is there. They have a bamboo forest to walk through, there is art everywhere, just really cool. The service is great. Not a huge surprise because the vibe is so chill. Another amazing thing here are the prices. If we lived anywhere near Rhode Island, we would get the majority of our plants from here and a bunch of outdoor art pieces. It's a great way to spend a few hours.

A lobster roll was very good, not the best but it hit the spot. Next up was the Swordfish straight up with a side of asian slaw. The swordfish was spectacular. The asian slaw was terrible as were the roasted brussel sprouts. The filet was a hit as well as 2 different salads. Swordfish was a straight up a fine piece of fish. The non alcoholic drinks were creative & very tasty. A frozen lemonade was quite acceptable. Tom our server was a 10/10 on top of everything. We were seated in the large bar at a perfect round table. My family (daughters, SILs, and four grandkids) returned for the SECOND year to get Narragansett swag and souvenirs. The shop has an amazing selection of quality beach inspired jewelry, the latest trends in sweatshirts and tee shirts (including long sleeve), and hats. The prices are not high for the quality offered. Also available are home items such as mugs, wall art, table top decor and local named signs. They also carry beach towels, sunscreen, boogie boards, sand toys. The family carefully selected jewelry, hooded sweatshirts, sweat pants, and t-shirts. We had fun, and it was Grandma's treat! The friendly owner and two knowledgeable young staff were very helpful and made shopping easy by locating sizes and styles. There is a dressing room available. One negative is the small amount of children's clothing available. I had to go to the "Special T Shop" which is part of the Narragansett Pier Shops for toddler and young child size clothing for my three and one year old grands. (See review)
