That's the good part. But my $35 pedicure didn't include a massage, just a scrub and lotion. I explained to the tech that I like my nails round (so the sharp edges don't poke the other toes), but she did about 1/2 square and 1/2 round so now I'm filing them myself. She also stated digging at my nail before I realized what she was doing. I hope I don't get an infection. Several times I was prodded to add a mani or upgrade the service. I declined each time. I'm sure they make more $ for add on services and I don't mind being asked once. But that's it.

I pointed out a few spots on my nails where it looked like they had lost adhesion. I've been getting my nails done for years and always, when filling, the techs remove any part that looks like it could let air or moisture in. Jesse said I was in error and they looked fine and she proceded to fill. A week later a few of my fingers were tender around the nail beds. Upon removal 2 of my fingers had a pretty nasty looking fungus and one finger was just beginning to be infected - these were the nails I pointed out when they were being filled. It's been almost 3 months and I'm finally clear - the nails have grown out and the fungus was caught and treated. I do not know if it was ignorance or unwillingness on her part to do it correctly but I surely regret not putting my foot down and insisting on it being done correctly. I didn't want to be rude or seem like a know-it-all. Lesson learned. I won't go back there again and I won't let it go next time I think something isnt being done right.

I was seated quickly, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. I treated myself to a gel pedicure and a builder gel manicure. The salon hd a relaxing atmosphere, and I appreciated that I never felt rushed. Unfortunately, the quality of my manicure didn't quite meet my experience. My guilder gel wasn't as smooth was I had hoped and had a few noticeable bumps, and the gel polish started chipping after three days, which was disappointing considering the service. I spent $150 for both services. I'm willing to give them another chance because everyone was so kind and welcoming, and I'm hopeful my next visit will have a better outcome.
