The location is a little tough as the roads in Terry leave a lot to be desired, HOWEVER the owner drove to the Cenex station and escorted us to the campground via the smoothest, easiest way. This is a small campground with some pull thru sites. We were far enough from the freeway to not have to listen to the truck noise. There were plenty of shade trees. Full hook ups were also a plus, however their locations were off at least at our site. The biggest negative was the bathrooms. They were clean and functional, but had not been updated in about 50 years. The showers left a lot to be desired. Overall, I would stay here again. The price was fair ($25+tax).

I called up pretty late at night, but they still answered their phone and let me reserve a spot -- a rarity in an area where I've had trouble if I'm trying to book a room or campsite much later than 9pm. Many places just ignore their phones. They had nice grassy lawns to set up tents on, with picnic tables, and you can drive your car right in. Good shower facilities and bathrooms. I'd run over a dead deer that was lying in the highest the night before, and as the sun came up, the deer guts started to bake, producing a pretty unpleasant smell. The hosts had pretty good humor about it, and let me borrow some supplies to clean up... And even let me leave some smelly, torn pieces of deer-gut-infused mudflaps in their trash! Then after I cleaned up, they kindly pointed me in the direction of a breakfast place in town. While it doesn't have anything special that'd make it a destination in and of itself, I would definitely recommend for an overnight stop on a road trip.

The park has a smallish swimming pool that some will like on a very hot day. But it is too small to accommodate a lot of people at the same time. There is no shallow space for the very young. And there aren't any playground facilities or a dedicated pet area. This is not a destination campground for families. But on the plus side, the owners are very friendly and the WiFi is fantastic! And the digital cable TV system provides crystal clear picture on a huge number of basic and extended basic channels. If you need a place to stop for the night while traveling I-94, these amenities might make you choose Big Sky.

There are no signs on where to go, where to check in etc. we guessed that the motel is where to check in at It takes very little effort to make signs 2. It was perfect for weary travelers looking for an inexpensive night. A real plus was the bathroom and shower facilities. Very clean and neat. The Miles City Montata KOA id no different. In fact it exceeds all expectations. Ste in a beautiful setting next to the Tongue River in case you like to fish, there's plenty of it going on here. The town itself is a true life western gem and could be the backdrop for a movie. All around a to to offer. The KOA is extremely well appointed exceptionally clean and the cabins and tent site are excellent. Best cabin I ever stayed in. Super clean and quiet. The office is a standout with Tim the grounds manager (I assume) running the show. A huge smile and friendly to every customer i saw walk in. Folks, his is not an easy job, KOA employees work there butts off to provide the best for us and here in Miles City they do it right!. I can't say enough about Tim and his crew. The office and store itself provide all the general amenities, services and offer all the products for purchase you need o have an excellent stay. I enjoyed this KOA so much i had to book a long 3 night stay for next month. You gotta try this one out, REALLY! The franchise owners should be proud!

Very relaxing place to stay, not too far off the road in the tiny little town of Wibaux, Montana. It was very relaxing, easy to get into and out of, and we would definitely stay there again if we pass through Montana on I-94. Note: there is a low train bridge on the main route to their place, so make sure you look at your GPS/map real good.
