Wait a few minutes before they bring the child to you. Almost every time the child is crying and has dirty face of sinus mucus. What are they hiding? This is a huge red flag

Also, it was nice to have an app that allows you to see pictures of your child throughout the day. Lastly, the place was very clean and nice inside. The bads: They pride themselves on being a religious daycare; however, the owner and Robin were only in it for the money. My child only went part-time, so we had to email the week prior times and days he will be there. That wasn't a big dea. However, there were times that he was sick or things changed during the week, so he didn't go on a scheduled day or I would try to change a day that was previously scheduled. They would charge you for the day missed (even if you called in advanced to tell them about it), and they would charge you for the new day as well if an opening was available (if another kid was sick and couldnt make it). One time, I told a worker after dropping my son off that I was actually going to get him sooner than I put in the request and they said that was perfectly fine. Later that day, I went to pick him up and Robin was working. I told her I was there to pick my son up. She gave me this disgusted look and said I have no idea what is even going on right now. I told her I asked this morning and the worker said it was fine. That very week, an email came out saying that people are not allowed to pick their children up earlier than the time requested due to staffing. This doesn't make sense as I paid for the whole day anyway. You dont get a cheaper rate for half day. Besides you can't tell me I am unable to get my son whenever I want to get him. I can see if you stated a time and came after that, but not before. (They were actually fine with this they just charged more depending on how much time you went over your scheduled time) After all the daycares opened up again after COVID, this place decided that in order to be allowed back each parent had to submit from a provider their hours they worked. You were not allowed to schedule your child to be there unless you had work and had to be there right after you finished. My son started pre-K shortly after going here; however, it wasn't in Blackhawks district. I told them a van actually picks him up and takes him to the school everyday. I just have to give them the address of the location. Not any different than the busses they allow to get the children in the morning and wait for after school. They told me they were unwilling to get him on and off the van each morning. Also just to note: The dry cleaner next door has a big sign that says no drugs or alcohol allowed on premise. Obviously means they must have an issue with that in the location. Doesn't feel safe to have my son so close to that. Overall, the staff is amazing; however, management has really led this place to be a headache. They aren't worth dealing with. I transferred my son to Small Wonders and they were amazing and willing to allow flexibility and to get my son on and off the van each day. I would strongly recommend them over Noah's Ark.

On MULTIPLE occasions myself and other parents were left waiting outside the facility and late for work because the teachers were late to open. Their Ac and heating units are rarely running so it is either extremely hot or cold in the building depending on the weather. The owner was left in charge of multiple kids ranging from 15 months to 8 years all in one small room by himself all day, most days. He used diapers I brought in for MY child for other children and vice versus. And the icing on the cake was the criminal investigation that went underway while my children were still there, they were taken out that same week, as soon as it became public news. I absolutely do not recommend you bringing your children here. It's dirty, unprofessional, has no real curriculum and I would not feel safe leaving my children in this facility's care ever again.
