When learning a new language, it should be fun and exciting. I looked into Language Door and found our forever home. First, the owner Natascha is fantastic. She's multi lingual and very hands on. She loves what she does and it shows with all the students. She knows what teachers would be best for certain students. Second, I love love love Susan and Lupe who work as administrators. Susan is Hungarian and speaks so many languages, I can't keep track. She's kind, a world of knowledge and gives the best hugs. Lupe is smart, multi lingual and wonderful! Every student who walks in is greeted in the language they're learning. There are adults and kids learning Japanese, Arabic, Spanish, etc. The teachers are worldly, my kids love their classes and can't wait to go to school even on Saturday's. While I'm waiting for my kids I get to speak with all the parents who are lovely. Walking in I feel transported to an international setting where people are open minded, multi cultural and inclusive. I wouldn't hesitate making the call! Thanks Language Door for embracing the love of language!

What really makes this place stand out (and believe me I did my research) is that if you want to take a foreign language class with them you can sit in on a few classes before you decide to sign up for the new start date. The owner, Natascha is also extremely attentive and you can tell she loves what she does and goes the extra mile for her students and teachers. I am quite impressed with the level of service provided and it was more than worth it for the price! I plan to sign up for German & Arabic courses shortly after my Advanced Spanish course commences.

Since I work for a Japanese company, my primary motivation is work-related. I learned of Language Experts from Yelp and called for information. Scheduling of weekly private lessons is relatively flexible and pricing was affordable. Because of my busy work schedule, my classes averaged about once every 1-2 weeks. Yet, as recommended by sensei, I devote about an hour a day to self-study. Consequently, over two years, I've nearly finished Genki volumes 1 & 2. For those not familiar with Genki, it integrates conversation, reading, AND writing (i.e., hiragana, katakana, and kanji). This is designed to help you pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) levels 5 & 4 (to work in Japan, you need to pass JLPT level 2). So, if you're exclusively interested in learning daily conversational Japanese, it probably is not the best format for you. On the other hand, I traveled to Japan on business twice over the past year, and I was comfortable communicating with my Japanese colleagues, as well as navigating Tokyo on my own, including the notorious Shinjuku train station! Sensei's style of instruction is supportive, encouraging, and tailored. I've been impressed how far I've come, and give Atsuko sensei and Language Experts my highest recommendation.

One of the things I love most about Language Portal is its flexibility. They offer both in-person and online classes, making it easy to fit language learning into a busy schedule. I asked every question I could think of, from how they handle sickness to how teachers are supported, and I observed everything from class ratios to daily routines. We visited several schools, but ultimately chose Frontiers, and I'm so glad we did. The difference was clear: attrition among instructors was low, and my son's teacher had been there for many years. To me, happy teachers = happy kids. From the start, the staff were warm, communicative, and professional. I've been consistently impressed by their attention to detail, safety standards, and how thoughtfully they care for each child. Beyond the nurturing environment, the academics are truly top-notch. It's a trilingual school so teaches in English, Spanish, and Mandarin. The curriculum is rigorous; I love that my son is being challenged intellectually while also building confidence, creativity, and curiosity. What gave me peace of mind is knowing my child is not only in a stable environment but also one where learning is engaging, meaningful, and sets a high bar. Communication has been excellent--I always feel in the loop. I've seen firsthand that the children are thriving, not only in Spanish or Mandarin but in all aspects of their development. If you're a parent who values stability, honesty, safety, and outstanding academics in a school culture where teachers are genuinely happy--Frontiers stands out. It checked every box on my list.

This was so bittersweet, as we all wished that she could stay longer (as long as possible) in Marco Polo! We didn't want to leave! We were a part of such a tight-knit, warm, supportive, and welcoming community - the teachers, fellow parents, all the students - that I truly believe that the bond forged and positive effects gleaned (both academic and non-academic) will last well into the future. We felt that the Reggio Emilia approach worked so well in helping kids of different character traits and temperaments grow according to their own pace and strengths. We loved all the teachers that have taught our daughter, as well as others we saw every single day in their various supporting roles (admin, front desk, meal times, science, subs, etc). It took a village, and boy was that village awesome. We could feel that the teachers (and everyone else) working there truly were there because they loved kids, and they loved helping kids thrive. The Preschool and Pre-K programs were particularly notable and instrumental in their roles in helping our daughter get more than ready for her kindergarten year (and beyond). Under the relatively new leadership of Ms. Kimberly, I saw notable improvements in terms of the variety of interesting new subjects, activities, and a stronger sense of direction, leadership, and community. We can't possibly thank Marco Polo enough for helping shape our daughter, for encouraging and loving her, and for supporting us throughout. Ms Amy, Ms Venus, Mr Erick, Ms Paris, Ms Fatemeh, Ms Destinee, Ms Kimberly, Ms Jing, Ms Caitlin, Mr Ruben, Ms Lisa, Ms Janet, and everyone else - you truly made Marco Polo such a wonderful journey for us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

After studying with Jacqueline for 4 months, I was able to travel to France, speak French and be understood! Learning a new language is not always easy and it does take time. I study the grammar during the week, and then my lesson is used for conversation, questions and lots of practice. This process works well for me as I often have trouble getting my tongue around some of the tricky French pronunciation and also conjugating verbs mid-conversation. Jacqueline is very supportive during this process. I know Jacqueline to be exceptionally invested in her student´s success, and supportive of students of all levels. The main two teachers, Chichi and Delsy, treat the children with great care and kindness. Next, the lessons and activities they have are engaging. There's singing and dancing. There's motor skill development. They work on presentation, writing, and more. My daughter is nearly potty trained at 2 years and 3 months old, just under 3 months at the school. There's the group, Soccer Shots, that come to the school as well as an extracurricular. The facility is spacious and clean. It caters to the students with. The outdoor play area is well covered with canopies. The equipment does not look rundown. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that some schools do, but it has all it needs and then some. Lastly, the communication is frequent throughout the day. Unlike some other school where it drops off after the first week, we get consistent updates with photos and videos. It provides reassurance that she's having a lot of fun at school. I moved my daughter here when she turned two, and we don't look back. She actually asks for her teachers constantly at home. She's excited to go in.

And that's exactly what we found. The teachers and staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and easy to communicate with, and we always feel our kids are in good hands. The school is very well-run, and the parent app keeps us updated with daily photos, nap times, potty info, and any incidents. It gives us great peace of mind to know what's going on throughout the day. The indoor and outdoor play spaces give the kids plenty of room to explore, and the environment is full of joy and creativity. We're especially impressed with the fun, thoughtful curriculum. The kids practice drawing and writing in playful ways and get to be little scientists with hands-on, imaginative activities. They've brought home the most creative projects, and the school goes above and beyond with family events like art and dance shows, and celebrations for Mother's Day, Father's Day, and other holidays. While some staff turnover happens due to 1-year contracts, our kids have adjusted well, and there are always multiple teachers in the classroom to provide continuity and support. Though learning Chinese wasn't our top priority, it's been a neat bonus to see our kids pick up songs and understand basic directions in Mandarin. More than anything, we're grateful for the kindness, safety, and joy NiHao brings into their lives.
