The food was amazing! But words cant express how great the service was. Sonya was our waitress and she went above and beyond. It felt like a family owned business very welcoming. Portions are big highly suggest coming hungry.

Smalley's has been a Family favorite for many years and has been my Dad's BIrthday request every year. It is my favorite BBQ sauce! Not only are the plates delicious but the entire staff is awesome. No dissapointments. Love the food & ambiance

An unassuming BBQ joint, but really homey vibes here. Service was excellent from beginning to finish. I wasn't super hungry, so the 3 of us ordered a ribs platter and tri tip platter. Two sides included for each entree, including clam chowder! The clam chowder was thick, almost like a corn chowder, but pretty good. I did not care for the tri tip which was thinly sliced but overly doused in bbq sauce. The ribs on the other hand were excellent, very tender and plenty of spices. They end your meal with sherbert!

We went to Smalley's Roundup with some friends and the dinner was outstanding! I ordered ribs & chops combo and wife ordered steak & shrimp combo. Both were delicious. I had a 1L beer to wash all the tasty meat down. If you are a carnivore and like large portions, then Smalley's is for you!

Grandma's Meal! I know my grandma wouldn't be able to eat all this! Tri-tip, 3 ribs, beans, baked potato, bread, and a garden salad. Desert included rainbow sherbet. This meal was so good so much food for 23.00. During the day they have a special from 3-5 and you can get a tri-tip, chicken, or pulled pork sandwich, beans and potato or fries for under $10. Smalleys is a Home Town institute and as a kid I remember sitting at the diner counter when they were located on West Market. This is the place you go to for meal that will not disappoint you go in knowing it will be good and leave feeling satisfied. Portions are plenty but save room for that sherbet!

The ribs are like carnitas, way over cooked . Tritip had a funny taste. Service is great and I didn't have the heart to tell them the food was horrible. I won't be going back . 3 years ago I wrote a 3 star review but today's review is only worth a star.

Growers has a good setup--the bar is very lively and full, but it's not the first thing you see when you walk in, as it's off to the side. We had a nice booth, complete with real flower in a glass, and were served promptly by a pleasant lady. She helped me choose my entree, and was attentive and accommodating throughout our meal. I had the chicken Marsala, which is the best I've ever had (and I often order it in restaurants.). My husband had the bone-in pork chop. We had crème brûlée for dessert. He was patient and knew the menu, and offered options when he saw our reactions as we tried to decide. The chef even walked out and offered to make the bolognese from scratch and omit the mushrooms. From start to finish the whole Mangia team was great, and it made me happy to see how they treated one another. The dishwasher came up a few times to swap the trays and everyone got along, and I noticed the chef made them each something to eat as the restaurant was closing. As for the food, good Salinas option. The Nonna appetizer was a bruschetta with pistacho, fresh ricotta, and honey. Delicious. Beet salad was good, hearty beets, mixed greens, and balsamic. It was over dressed for my taste, but hubby loved it. I wasn't a huge fan the cheese they used, it was a harder salty cheese in small cubes. I got the penne with a really subtle lemon cream sauce, grilled chicken, and broccoli. Came out hot and it was a generous portion, waiter offered some fresh cheese so took that of course. I'd order it again, but don't think it was the best pasta dish I have ever had. Chicken Parmesan was cooked fresh, and came with the penne and marina. In my opinion the marina was under seasoned, but I'm generally heavy on the garlic and basil. I don't know I'd label it as a culinary hot spot, but the food was good, and made by good people. I appreciate the atmosphere and we will definitely be back.

The restaurant has a great drink selection and a great menu. We were pleasantly surprised to learn they offer a Tuesday dinner special that includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert for only $32! This menu also had a special drink selection. I ordered the house salad, prawn risotto, and chocolate lava cake. The salad was very fresh with spring mix and butter lettuce, which I especially enjoy, and it was topped with a light vinaigrette style house dressing that was light and delicious. The prawn risotto was creamy, flavorful, and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. The chocolate lava cake was rich and very chocolatey, a bit too rich for my personal taste, but still enjoyable. It also came with vanilla gelato, which was delicious. As a table, we also ordered the tableside tiramisu, which was such a fun and unique experience. I am a tiramisu connoisseur, so anytime I see it on the menu, I ordered it. It is my favorite dessert. Although this was not my favorite one, I very much enjoyed the experience. I will mention the espresso needs a little more time to fully soak into the ladyfingers, but the presentation and experience alone made it worth trying. The ambiance was lovely with nice background music, and the service was attentive and welcoming. Everyone in our party truly enjoyed their meal, especially the birthday girl. We ordered avocado toast, French toast, banana pecan pancake, house potatoes, and an Aperol spritzer. My avocado toast was served on a single very thick piece of bread, which had a very generous amount of avocado smash and was topped off with this delightful and fresh arugula salad. I added an over easy egg for an extra charge that was the perfect balance. The house salad was simple with butter lettuce, cherry tomatoes, radish, cucumber, with a light lemon house dressing that brought the salad together. It was refreshing.
