He asked about my goals and truly sought to understand exactly what I wanted before giving his suggestions. I asked tons of questions which he answered thoroughly and patiently. The best part about the experience was he could instantly tell I was shaken up from a previous incident and was so compassionate while still being direct. He talked to me about how to keep myself safe in case of another break-in given the layout of the new house and improve overall house safety in other ways. He even noticed the doors weren't installed correctly and missing tiny parts that make a door super easy to kick in. You don't always get more bang for your buck and it's definitely much more expensive than a DIY Google Nest self install, but I will sleep better at night knowing I got the true expert advice I needed to keep myself and my home safe. Due to the permitting system in the area and the issues with the owner of the house I lease there may be issues with getting one feature but I am going very out of my way to find a way to get what he thinks I need.
