The teachers were all great, supportive, and very knowledgeable. All teachers are certified Montessori teacher since they are required to take the courses. We love interacting with Ms. Jenny. She was very quick in responding to our email every times and assisted with our needs efficiently. The Montessori curriculum is great for social development, and this school does it very well. Our kids social and language skills are above the average of the kids their age. Village Montessori has a nice supportive community and they have events for the parents and kids to enjoy. My only wish was that they have a bigger playground and shaded play area for the kids to play in. Also the turnover for the teachers were quite high in the past year. Throughout their journey, our children have had consistently the same teachers and an abundance of love and patience. Their curriculum is rigorous, but age-appropriate. We had the most horrible experience at this daycare center. My daughter was in Ms. Mercedes…read moreclassroom and due to some incidents too long to describe, I noticed that something was off. I asked to see the cameras and we saw Mercedes being violent and rough with my daughter. She hit her head because she could not control her temper (the caregiver, not the child!). My daughter was 2 years old at the time. The director, which tends to be rude but chose to be more diplomatic considering the obvious, agreed that the caregiver lost her temper and that it was wrong. However, refused to move the teacher from my daughter´s classroom. She said we would have to move my daughter to a different level instead. Needless to say, my daughter did not come back to that school. We even filed a police report that indicated that the caregiver must practice better patience with children. You would expect that from a teacher of 2 year old children! The caregiver was a few weeks without pay but then went back to work. Regardless if she is still there or not, I would advise all parents to stay away from this center. They allowed this behavior to happen. This person should have been fired. Please do your research and put your kids in a facility where the caregivers genuinely care about your children. My daughter had an emotional impact from her experience in this place. To top it off, they tried to put it on my daughter saying that she used to cry all the time. What a lame justification of wrong adult actions. Stay away from this place! I have to give star but I would give them -0
