They made sure to meet and interact with all students, even if the students were in a course outside of their specific area. All the employees, all the way up to the owner Rick, were always accessible and available to answer any questions any student might have. * Bar Management Specifically o I took the course because my wife and I are opening a bar. Over my 12-week course Darryl and I were afforded many opportunities to discuss ideas for our specific business model as well as the Las Vegas & national bar industry in general. It has proved to be priceless for me as some of the things that came out of those conversations will be used in some fashion in our operation - whether it be in the planning and development phase, the actual operating phase or in the setting of longer-term goals and expectations for our business's future, including growth and expansion. o Darryl is incredibly knowledgeable and has an amazing ability to teach people of a wide variety of ages, backgrounds, experience levels, knowledge bases and learning styles. The added information he injects from his own personal experience adds an even deeper level of understanding to the many topics covered throughout the Bar courses. o Darryl sets a realistic atmosphere, keeping the training as close to real life as possible (i.e. from the lighting & décor, to training in an actual bar setting; containing all of the equipment an operating bar would have, to playing music, to teaching the bartending lessons at the bar to create a realistic buzz in the room for those practicing drink making at the same time). o Darryl is a straight shooter. He keeps it real, so when you have completed either of the Bar courses offered there will be no doubt about what a graduate should expect when moving forward into the industry's workforce. o Darryl creates and maintains a team-like atmosphere where students root each other on and celebrate each other's progress and successes. I can't thank Darryl and the amazing Bar students enough for making an impact on me and teaching me some amazing lessons in one way or another. I would strongly recommend either Bar course to anyone wanting to get into the bar industry in any capacity. I will be visiting again on my own time to hone my skills and absorb even more knowledge in the coming months. In this industry the learning never ends, and this school has proven to me that they are in it for the long haul and will be there to support the current students as well as the graduates long into the future. Summary of my review from attending a CPR, AED, and First Aid course with CPR Connections on…read more7/16/26 at Legacy House Centennial Hills. I was hoping for a great class based on the reviews, and the itinerary listed. However, the class was not ideal. * Only practiced CPR on adult and infant manikins once with no practice for child CPR procedures. * No hands-on training for AED use, choking response, or first aid procedures. * Approximately 30 students with only 3 adult and 3 infant manikins available for training. They appeared to be unprepared for the number of attendees as seats were slowly coming into an already packed room for each new person that came through the door. This created a disorganized atmosphere, and gave the impression that they did not know how many students had registered for the class. * Instructor was often difficult to hear due to soft speaking and noise outside of the classroom. * Assistant was unavailable to assist instructor in observing the hands-on CPR practice stating that they were doing a test during the class. * Many participants appeared to be performing compressions incorrectly, as the feedback lights were frequently red or off, indicating improper compression depth, hand placement, or technique. Nothing was corrected. * Text message notifications repeatedly appeared on the presentation screen, including one with derogatory language. I found this to be unprofessional, distracting, and awkward. * Course was advertised as 2 hours but ended after about 1.5 hours. * Final material was rushed, leaving little time for questions or additional practice. * Left feeling unprepared and disappointed with the overall quality of the training. I understand that unexpected issues can arise, but I am disappointed by the lack of organization, instruction, and structure in a class that teaches critical lifesaving skills. I plan to get better training in a CPR, AED, and First Aid class somewhere else.

It was after 5 and they were still bringing in chairs, so they were unprepared. The instructor, Arturo Ramos, did not introduce himself. The class was mostly videos. He had slide show which he read word for word. The class was overcrowded. There was a girl there as well, which she did not even help us when we had 5 mins hands on. One of their phones was hooked up to the laptop which all the students could see the text on the overhead, which one of the text was derogatory. I found it very rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this course.

Our boys tend to get in trouble a lot and the staff always finds ways to help them figure out solutions for their behavior and actions. This place is worth every penny. Get your kids in now while they are little (best preschool in the state) and watch them grow. The curriculum at a young age is very advance. They aren't perfect, neither are your kids. Give them patience and watch your kids flourish with Jesus and LMCA.
