First of all, they treat you to coffee or tea upon arrival (yum!) and Kylie really listened to me and gave me the exact cut I was after. Now, i've had very short hair for a very long time, and it is obvious when someone doesn't quite know what they're doing with my hair. In fact, I got my hair cut at a beauty school/training place for a few years, so I know what a bad cut looks like! I'm always quite nervous finding a new hair salon given a bad haircut can be ruinous. I was able to be booked in for a haircut the following week and was very pleased with the results - got exactly what I wanted. What I will say is this place is almost always book on weekends and after work hours, if you want to be able to come during one of these times definitely call and book in advance as they may not have available timeslots. I haven't looked back where the prices weren't outrageous like some of these places seem to be. They also do all of the other girly stuff such as the nails, spray tans and the like where I feel like it's important that they're ultra friendly and helpful. This wasn't like all of the other beauty places where it feels like guys have to squirm and walk out. I felt comfortable, learned something new and walked out as giddy as any other girl.
