No…read morehorse is beaten at Mark Reyner and I can tell you knowing the owner very well that if anyone tried to beat a horse at that facility - you would no longer be permitted on the property. Some of the horses are very old (in their 30's) and are fully retired. Anyone who knows anything about senior horses knows it is very hard to keep weight on a horse coming to the end of their life. The owner keeps all senior horses until they can longer function without pain. She doesn't send them off to kill lots like a lot of people do. The stables has also given rescue horses a second chance as therapy horses - instead of a trip to a kill buyer. And most of the therapy horses were performance horses in their day that now have a second job as a therapy horse - instead of a trip to a kill buyer. Better than half of the horses at Mark Reyner are privately owned and if they don't get out of their pen and are not ridden or trained - that is the fault of the individual owner. You can go to any boarding facility and see horses that are ignored by their owners. The therapy horses get out of their pen plenty. There is a thriving therapeutic client list and those horses have plenty of work and interaction with people. As far as riding lessons are concerned - any responsible and competent instructor worth their salt will teach slowly and in stages. You don't get to go galloping off on the second lesson and you don't get to do what you want on a lesson horse. When I teach a beginner - I have total control and don't allow a rider's enthusiasm for fun and going fast to override their safety. It takes a long time to learn to properly ride a horse.

The environment is likely *supposed* to be 80-82 degrees, but the door to the facility was left open, so every time somebody entered down the hall, the cold air came straight in to the lesson area. This was most noticeable AFTER our lesson when we were all wet and felt pretty cold despite the heat being on. I'd recommend putting a changing table or pad in a private space on the floor for people with infants to feel comfortable changing themselves while their baby is safely on the floor and not at risk of falling off of a high surface. Additionally, a robe or extra towel doesn't solve my issue of not being able to change myself AND my baby while alone. Thanks for the update, maybe we will try a different facility for next time and see if that will work better.

Needless to say, this "method" is not acceptable. When my wife confronted them about it, they said they were joking. Then when our daughter came home, she showed us a scratch on her leg from his "incentives," which we photographed. So not only are they abusive of children, they are liars. At this point, they should be happy that the worst outcome they're going to experience from this is a negative review; instead of a lawsuit.

My first impression was how well kept the building is. After working in numerous gyms, you just kinda just expect the lingering smell of feet to be part of the experience, but not here. The gym is kept in immaculate condition (including the pit, which is tough work to do). As for the coaches...we have had Coach Kathy (for dance and gym), Coach Olivia, Coach Kayla, and Coach Jennica (spelling?). We have loved them all!! They really care about the kids and get to know them and the parents personally. They are attentive to each child's individual needs and limitations and conduct the classes in a way I feel to be very safe and fun. I have found the owners Kathy and Steve to be very approachable and it is obvious they love the kids. Additionally, I have observed the teams workouts (as one of my daughter's classes is on Saturdays) and this gym has produced some very talented kids with above average technique. It is apparent that they really take the time to perfect basics before moving on to more difficult skills. As for pricing. It is extremely reasonable and payments are in 8 week "semesters" for recreational classes. There is a wide variety of programs to choose from (hip-hop, ballet, tumbling, cheer, a new ninja class, birthday parties, open gyms). Free trial class too! I would recommend Sundance 100x's over. We have found our "gym home." :)

This is such a welcoming dance studio and when my daughter first came in she loved it. Ms.Mila is so patient and a great teacher! Class is usually about 1 hour and they do both ballet and tap dancing! They learn routines and different ballet moves. Plus Ms. Mila teaches them ballet vocabulary and makes it so fun to watch them learn and dance. In addition, this is such a cost-effective and sustainable dance program for all ages! They have different packages from 1 class to 3 classes a week. Which is awesome plus they offer weekend and weekday classes. My daughter attends one class a week for only $35 which is a deal! Overall, this dance studio is a blessing! My daughter has learned so much just coming one day a week! Since he has not been a regular Pride player, he felt very excluded and was put at a level way below where he should have been with kids 3-4 years younger than him (imagine a high school freshman being placed in a group of 6th-7th grade girls). The coaches did not communicate well, and didn't listen to our concerns. If your son/daughter doesn't start with Pride when they are very young, or if they are an average player just looking to play and have fun, then Pride is not for you. I would recommend Corinthians, Rush or even the Y as alternatives.
