(FYI, G.O. is in the process of merging with Rip City.) G.O. showed up within the hour, and he immediately assessed the problem but didn't have the proper spring for our door on his truck (he guessed the spring could be as old as our 1954 house!). He provided a written estimate and said he could come back the next morning with the right part if we wanted him to do the work. The price was reasonable so we gave him the go ahead. G.O. arrived at 9:30 the following morning with his assistant, they went right to work, fixed the door, even did a full look-over of all the parts to make sure nothing else was on the verge of breaking, and everything works perfectly now! Even though I had to push out installation due to some other projects at my house and couldn't give a firm date at the time, he got the doors on order and didn't even ask for a deposit. No one else could even touch his bid for the quality doors he was providing (Amarr); I was told so by two other companies. He let me know when the doors arrived, we scheduled an install date, and Jesse (different Jesse) showed up right on time. It took him 15 mins less for installation that he told me, cleaned up after himself and made sure I was happy before leaving. I've had some real challenges with contractors lately and these guys were a breath of fresh air.
