They had a Maryland crab themed shopping spread, and there was a cute little ceramic crab jewelry holder that I just HAD TO HAVE! And it was from this little store, Simply Noted, in Ruxton. First attempt in trying to get this crab did not go well. I made sure to check the store hours before I went and when I arrived it was closed! I was very upset since I did check beforehand, so I messaged the store via Facebook. I received a very sincere response from the manager explaining that their summer hours are shorter than listed online. She apologized and offered to ship it to me free of shipping charges. I decided to try going the next day because I really did want to check out the shop, and I am glad I did because it is adorable. Tons of cards, note pads, and gift items like books, dog toys and wine accessories. This place has it all and even designer items to like Kate Spade stationary. The woman working realized it was me from the Facebook messaging and apologized again and she was a pleasure to talk to and work with. And I am SO happy with my cute crab jewelry holder. I will definitely go back if I need to find another fun gift!

I have also brought my Anne Taintor calendars from this store. They sell calendars, journals, notepads, and much more. It's a super fun store that's totally worth your time. They also do customized invitations (from wedding to baby). They are open Monday - Saturday until 6pm. Closed Sundays. Go and enjoy some great stationery!

I loved what I saw so much that I ended up spending extra money on things like the extra Maryland items for myself. The staff was engaging and I believe used a little extra care while wrapping my glasses once I told them where I lived and why I was there. I'd definitely return again when in the area.

On one visit, we even overheard a comment between staff members about commissions, which felt out of place in front of customers. None of this takes away from how great the store is--it's a fantastic local shop with beautiful products. A slightly softer, more relaxed customer service style would make an already great shopping experience even better. We love WEECHIC and will continue to shop here.
