I had not originally known about this store but it showed up as being on the route I would be taking. Knowing nothing about this store, it seemed like a gamble. When we arrived it was 2 minutes before they opened. We walked down to the store slowly and it was now past opening time. The door was locked. We waited a few minutes...still locked. I was considering calling it a day on this one but my partner suggested waiting until 10 minutes past opening time just to give them a chance. ...and boy is she a smart lady! They opened the door 2 minutes later and when I went inside I was overwhelmed. This was a store that I had added to my itinerary last minute and I ended up getting 6 albums here and spending over $100. These were all things I had been looking for, even...some of which I had issues finding other than online in pricy situations. Staff and owned were great...other than opening a few minutes late, but really, who cares when you can get such good finds? They also sell electronics if you need a system to play your new finds on! I cannot wait to go back.

Upon entering, two staff greeted us warmly, and proceeded to offer a tour of the store. The owner has set up multiple interactive areas for customers: a general play area in the back with about 5 or 6 tables with chairs; a mouth-watering library of tabletop games; a consignment shelf where individual sellers can sell used games; a small snack stand; a couple of try-it-yourself stands for specific games; and a small aisle where you can buy the materials to make your own game. One of the staff generously offered to sit and play a game of our choosing with us from the lending library. We played Wingspan with him and admired that he had only played the game once before, he knew the rules really well and was a competitive match for us, who had played several times more than he had. A customer can pay 5 percent of the cost of the game in the library in order to borrow it for a week. Upon returning the game, the 5 percent payment can be used to deduct from cost to purchase the game, if you decide you want to buy it.
