Nothing but great things to say about this company. I moved my office and needed new signage. It was only vinyl lettering above my office and at the front of the business complex, but I still needed it done regardless. There is not 1, but 2 sign shops across the street from my office. I reached out to both and both of them blew me off after multiple follow up calls and emails. I then searched sign shops through Yelp, Yelp had sent my requests out to 5 shops in the area (all 5 had responded too) and Smart Levels was one of them. I decided to go with Smart Levels since they print the colors for their signage, so could color match the vinyl instead of it simply being chosen from 1 or 2 shade options from rolls that they had. They worked with me on the layout, colors and did a great job overall. When I did go to their office to get my order, I was extremely impressed with all that they do, realized how tiny my order was in comparison to what they normally offer, which impressed me even more with the level of service I received for being such a small guy. read more

Well after 6 years of loyalty they lost us. We love the firm, but it was the people that made the difference. The "new" Smart Levels, skimps on customer service and readily admits that the last group of employees went and I quote, "above and beyond" for our clients, but we don't do that anymore. As a business owner, we need to be aligned with professionals who can occasionally help keep things moving and fluid. Stopping projects and sending them back to the customer is just a way to play hot potato and push the job off the desk for a week or two. It does NOT help with deadlines. Anyhow, we drove 2 hours to use these guys, since we opened an office in San Diego, I am sure we will find someone willing to help us get these rudimentary projects done. read more

My first experience at Smart Levels: Pro: I ordered 18pt Business cards, 500 ct. The process was quite easy on their site and they updated the status of my order pretty well. I got emails when I placed the order, and when it was ready and then picked up. -The pricing was quite reasonable as well with special promotion code on their site. -The place looks clean and sleek inside the office/ reception. -The picking up process was very fast and the staff was helpful. Con: -Turnaround time for my 18pt cards is 2 weeks (which showed on their site before I placed the order). Since I wasn't in a hurry to get the cards, it is fine, but keep it in mind before you order. -Once the order was placed and in production, it stated that it would be ready by a specific date. However, I only received the email stating that the order is completed and ready for pick up a day later. This is a bit confusing as I thought it would be ready by the date on the site. -The color is off - very obviously off. When I first saw it, I thought it was just the lighting inside the place. As soon as I get home, I looked at the card again in different lighting - Sunlight, Daylight, Warm Light (worse). I could blame the monitor color setting, however, I had these exact same cards printed somewhere else and the color was exactly the same as what I see on my monitor. Pricing is reasonable but i was disappointed with the quality of the business cards. They had to reprint the first order because it wasn't cut straight. Would have been nice if someone had looked it over before traveling down there. They reprinted again and it was better but still not great. It's worth it to spend an extra $20 for better quality. I concur prices are reasonable. In fact very reasonable and staff are friendly and the timing of which an order was ready was exceptional. My boyfriend suggested that I use this company for my flyers for an art show and for my new business cards. (for my jewelry) He gets all of his orders done here. So after we designed both the fl yer and the business cards he sent in my order via on line for me. This was on Monday morning. Wednesday afternoon I get a call that the flyers are ready. That was faster than what Kinko's has done for me in the past.. Their hours are great. They close at 7pm. The location sucks! It's far off in Irvine in a business park where everything looks the same. So... 20 minutes before 7 I arrive to pick up my flyers and business cards.. I looked over my cards. Not so much in an inspectors manner but when I read a previous reviewers review about how his cards were jagged and rough i went through some of them. They looked fine... She was a great help as far as making sure my designs were the correct dimensions and informing me of any discrepencies with change of color. Smart Levels also has some of the best deals around! I first received 5,000 full color, double-sided quarter-page flyers for $100, which was a special at the time. They were done the next day. Most recently I placed the same order which was a little bit more since the special was done. It was supposed to take 3 days, however they were ready the next day as well. Smart Levels offers printing services on every level. A friend of mine got a really good deal on CD inserts. I intend to place an order for 5,000 full color, double-sided business cards next.
