Long story short - Amazing staff, good prices , double upgrade feature, extremely clean, lots of amenities, and state of the art equipment. Long story version - I have never had to wait more than 8 minutes and that is IF I wanted a specific room. They have multiple beds of each level. You can't go wrong with SmartTan and their level 5 beds, both cost the same yet differ in tan result, I switch back and forth between the two. Throughout the many years I've tanned with them, they've had one bed malfunction and it was when I first started coming (4 or 5 years ago). I never tanned in their level 4 or 5 packages prior to that day, just the 2 or 3. My level 3 bed was down so the girl offered to upgrade me to the 4 free of charge - I couldn't complain and said YES! The bed malfunction actually did myself and SmartTan a favor because I started to upgrade to the level 4 and 5 after experiencing the amazing Tan they provide. All beds have fans and most even have AC! If the bed doesn't have a mist feature, the room has a spray bottles to bring it with you. Not only that, the front desk, bathroom, and tanning rooms are loaded with hygiene items such as deodorant, face wash, hair ties, and glitter sprays. I'll never tan elsewhere. read more

So, I live and work in Providence, so there are a plethora of tanning salons closer to me that I can choose from, but I make the effort to drive to Smart Tan. I've been going here for about a year now, and have nothing bad to say about the place! The smart beds that are offered here really give you a great, dark tan quickly. I like the convenience of the different levels - during less busy times when I can go more often, I can use the lower level beds and save some money. If I haven't been able to get there for awhile, or if I can't visit as frequently, I can still get a great tan by using a higher level bed. I particularly like that they make the whole tanning experience as relaxing, convenient, and enjoyable as possible. There are a plethora of freebies available to customers like hair and skin products for their use. While I wish their prices were a little lower, I nonetheless recommend this tanning salon to anyone looking to tan quicker and safer! read more

updating! i wish i could give zero. a regular customer at this salon had a speaker FALL ONTO HIM. blood everywhere. this is irresponsible to have speakers unsecured like that! good luck with that lawsuit! while the beds are really nice, the decor is very cheesy. the staff has fallen apart over the years as well. staff seems to come and go rather quickly which makes sense because apparently the owner is not the best with businesses. red might therapy in the beds is not approved by the FDA and it's illegal. oh and you're also being audio recorded as soon as you walk into the place! that's illegal too. that's so uncomfortable! after finding out this information i will never set foot into this illegal establishment again. read more

Not only is this salon conveniently located rite off of route 2 but it has five different levels of tanning to choose from. I personally feel there machines are alot more effective than those at other salons I have visited. I am able to tan less frequently and maintain a darker tan than I have in the past at other salons. They have several different smart beds you wont find at many other salons. My personal favorite is their level 5. They also have great deals you wouldn't find at other salons such as 3 bonus minutes of a higher level free. Any other salon I have tanned at charges extra for more minutes. She took the time to explain the packages and how each level worked. This young lady was very knowledgeable and helpful on making sure I got the best package for my needs. Smart tan Warwick is hands down the best tanning salon I have ever been to! The girls working there are very informative, friendly, and welcoming. When I went there for my first time I got a complete tour of the salon and was amazed! I couldn't believe the knowledge these girls knew. They helped me figure out the perfect bed for my skin type as well as the lotions to use during my visits. Also, the prices were amazing. Hands down my fave place to go tanning! It's so chill and welcoming. I've never seen beds like the ones they have, they're so modern. They give me the best tan I've ever had. Sunset 4 is my preferred bed, it doesn't give me white spots and has that awesome facial therapy! They also have such great lotions, I love trying new ones every time I go... I absolutely LOVE this tanning salon. Been going since August 2012, the place looks like its straight out of Jersey Shore (in a good way). All the beds are TOP of the line going from level 1 - 5 and are very specific to how it will tan or burn you. Recently just got a spray tan in one of their smart booths, it was so easy and it didn't look orange. All new customers can try a free 30 day trial, which I did and loved! Smart Tans is the best for a brief relaxation. I also suffered from vitamin D deficiency. Guess what? No longer! I won't roast on a beach and fry myself. This salon is so cute! When you walk in it feel like you are in paradise. The staff is very helpful and it seems like they genuinely care about each person. I never feel like I am a bother to them like I have experienced in other salons. VERY GOOD TANNING SALON! Very good beds. I used the level four bed only twice a week and kept up with a very dark complexion. Prices are reasonable compaired to a lot of tanning salons around the area. The spray tan was suprising very pleasing. No orange I promise you!!!
