I just enjoyed a matinee show of Fiddler on the Roof at Broadway Palm. This was my first experience…read morewith dinner theatre and I was very impressed. Let's start with the food- buffet style- I am dairy free and always worry about my food options. Well there was more than enough for me to choose from and it was very tasty. The salad bar was very fresh and the honey mustard dressing was delicious. Also many desserts to choose from. Now to the show- this was also my first time seeing Fiddler and when I heard it was 3 hours long I was worried. The production was top notch! Amazing music, choreography and acting. I've seen Broadway shows and this was just as good! The lead actor was fantastic- I even saw him shed a tear during an emotional scene! I'm only here visiting family but already said I would love to return during my next trip! Ps-check out the gift shop!

The food was delicious -- classic comfort dishes that would make even the Old Man put down his lamp prize and dig in. And I cannot say enough about the terrific staff, especially our server Dee, who was absolutely outstanding. Friendly, fast, and knew exactly when we needed refills... and dessert... and maybe more dessert. The show was hilarious, nostalgic, and full of heart. The cast nailed the humor, and the set took me right back to childhood Christmas chaos. Highly recommend if you want a night of good food, lots of laughs, and zero BB-gun accidents. (You'll shoot your eye out... with JOY.)

When you arrive, the modern architecture of the Playhouse is quite striking. The venue design is excellent, particularly should one have disabilities. You can drive right up to the venue, valet your car and enter right into the theater. The theater is very clean. There's a bar with some fancy cocktails and food. I did notice that during intermission, there's a very long line. Overall, customer service was very good. The theater could've used larger restroom signs, as it was difficult to locate them. However, the number of restroom stalls were more than adequate. The prime orchestra tickets were $109 pp. The play was just fair. However, I am spoiled with New York area theater.

Right now they are sharing the Travis Center, very small area but efficient. This talent is deserving of the breather facility awaiting them. All staff are welcoming, volunteers help out as Ushers. Easy free public parking around the park nearby and kitty corner. There is a garage down the street too. Great to see a show and go eat at Fifth avenue. Ticket prices are reasonable for such wonderful entertainment, no amateurs here!

My 5-star review is based on how management handled our not-so-pleasant experience. Let me first…read moresay, that the theater itself is beautiful. The management staff...top-notch! But the crowd on the night we attended is what ruined our evening. I had purchased tickets for my daughter, her boyfriend & I for her birthday to attend the Whose Live Anyway show on my recently deceased husband's birthday (3/17). He was born in Ft. Pierce so we thought it would be a nice way to honor him, especially so soon after losing him (he passed 2 months prior). I was trying to make a very sad day a little better for my daughter. Now, it does not escape me that we attended on St. Patrick's Day; a holiday known for celebration. However, "spirited" holidays should not give people just cause to ruin other peoples' nights. We were seated in the balcony section in the second row. The only negative aspect at that point was the railing along the balcony. If you're short like me, it can obstruct your view a bit, but nothing to ruin your night. What ruined it, were the drunk patrons in the two rows behind us. Immediately upon sitting down, both parties were loud & obnoxious, but we had hopes that they would quiet down once the show started. They did not! They all continued talking, booing the participants & trying to heckle the performers. Now when I say they were talking so loudly that I was having difficulty hearing the performers, it's no exaggeration! The usher in that section also asked them to be respectful of others but they ignored him. After asking them a number of times to please quiet down, I was called a "b**ch" by one of them & got nothing but nastiness from another. By this point, about an hour into the show, I had had enough because I could tell my daughter was not enjoying herself. I walked out. I asked a different usher who I could complain to & was directed to another staff member. I explained to her the situation & apologized to her for MY attitude as I was extremely angry by that point. She offered to speak to the patrons but by then my daughter & her boyfriend were exiting, not wanting to stay. The staff member took us to another who, about 3 other staff members later, had a member of management speak to us. She apologized for the unpleasantness of the evening & said if we were willing to stay, she could seat us in "house seats". So, we took her up on the offer & were seated in about the 10th row center (on the floor) for the remainder of the show. It was nice that they were willing to try to make the rest of our night enjoyable, but to be honest, by then it was ruined. About a week later, I received a survey via email. I honestly didn't think staff even read those things, but thought, why not?! After completing the survey & explaining what had happened, I thought that would be the end of it. I was pleasantly surprised when I was contacted a day or two later by the Asst. Box Office & Front House Mgr, Savannah. She not only apologized again for what happened but offered to make it better "in some small way" with tickets to an upcoming show or a refund. I was blown away! I could not believe they would be so willing to make such a generous offer. Unfortunately, there weren't any upcoming shows that we cared to see, so I opted for the refund. Within 5 minutes of my reply email requesting the refund, Savannah wrote back to say it had been processed. I was so impressed by this & with the theater staff! It goes to show that there are good people at class-act venues who are willing to go above & beyond to make your night out worthy of a good memory, not just an unpleasant one! We will definitely attend shows in the future in hopes of being seated among more considerate patrons so that we'll have a much better experience.

This theater is one of my favorites to visit! Love the history of it for the past 100 years…read more Working and volunteering staff ia always smiling and helpful. The bar offers a good selection of drinks and enjoy the VIP experiences.
