Jason made sure everyone knew the material inside and out. Really informative class.

I've taken 3 classes with Jason. While he is a great teacher booking my latest class it was cancelled three times. Personal issues, I was always very understanding even with very short notice for every cancellation. The third cancellation I was told I was getting a refund for the class. When I realized the refund was never done I messaged Jason to check status and he said he does not do refunds. So while the classes are great unfortunately the book keeping aspect is lacking and therefore will not be back. read more

Though I've had a positive experience here in the past this time I drove over 30 miles to recertify only to find a note on the door professing ill health and that the class was cancelled. Strange, too sick to hold a class yet not too sick to drive in to place a note yet than again too sick to text a message to me/us? When I sent a text to him HE GOT UPSET AT ME! He thinks I'M unprofessional. I don't know I showed up he didn't even inform us and I'm unprofessional. Now because of time limitations I won't be able to recertify, I'll have to take the complete course, but I'm unprofessional. Schedule a class at your own risk. read more

I was looking to get my bls. I had talked to Jay and he asked what other day's worked for me since the Tuesday one was full. I told him Thursday was fine because I have a start date for a new job 1/17.. he emailed and texted me everything. I completed all online courses. I go today 1/13 and everything was locked up. I texted and called and no answer . Jason then called me back and stated he didn't know what happened he thought he reached out to everyone. He stated he has covid and his mother was in critical care he did the best he could with contacting everyone and he has classes next week ( which wont work cause i need to start next week new job). He said he could refund me then and said sorry. Ok I feel bad things are going on in his life but I took off work and now am back at square one looking for a place before 1/17 which doesn't appear to be happening. I have things going on too. Now i may not be able to start my new job, and I could have went to work or found a new place to go to had I known sooner he was canceling. I get you can't help covid. Point being his other review states he's cancelled before with out notice. Appears twice to be a valid accurate review. I wouldn't choose this place, I would travel further to avoid it. If you're the only one running the classes and no one covers you then you should make sure you're double checking to see if you reached out to everyone. I'm not sure if it's Jason who's unorganized or the company or both .. perhaps a better system needs to be in place and a generic email sent out to everyone automatically when things like this occur.. He did say if I couldn't find anything to let him know and he would try to get me into a class free of charge Monday or Tuesday. But again that won't work because I can't start unless I have the BLS first. read more

I took Jason's BLS course. I started with the online portion and it was very easy to digest/learn and get through the content. The quizzes after the PowerPoints helped me stay engaged in the material and made me even more prepared for the in class portion of the course. After arriving to the class, the course got even better!! You're in for a treat!! Jason is so personable and passionate about teaching and making sure everyone is efficient, competent and confident in giving HIGH QUALITY CPR! I learned additional tips I've never learned at any other BLS class prior to, I feel the most confident I've ever have after leaving a renewal course. As a travel registered nurse for the past few years, I'm honored to have attended Jason class and would without a shadow of a doubt take any course he offers. He's very knowledgeable and cares immensely about the lives of the patients we're training to save! third time I've used SmartCerts/Jason. Always a positive experience and I get my card the same day. Hybrid instruction because of Covid every time, but hope that it continues. The first time I was also in the middle of a family medical emergency and had to stop to take phone calls and he was very understanding. And of course I understand the initial Covid guidelines of taking temps when you get in (instructor and students), so unfortunately people get sent home or classes get canceled. thanks for a great class. Took BLS & ACLS here. Jason is awesome! He's extremely knowledgeable, passionate. Yet, he is funny and entertaining at the same time. Never imagined I would enjoy a BLS or ACLS class.
