I was told it would take 2 days to fix my ipad and it ended up taking over 3 weeks. During the whole time no one tried to communicate with me. I had to keep bugging them to get an update. When I finally got my ipad back the screen sensors were off so it kept randomly changing the volume and changing things on the screen. I emailed smartfix to see if they would look at it and they said of course but they are by appointment only and they would never confirm a time for me to bring it in. Call around before going here. I broke my screen and needed it repaired on the weekend so I called and got an appt Saturday. In that sense the service was good. They charged me $400 for a Galaxy S8 screen. When I went in, he ended up breaking the back of my screen and had to order a new one. Instead of giving me a break because he not only broke my other screen and I had to come back later that week to get that installed, he up sold me a $10 screen protector for $40. When I came back 4 days later to get the back screen replaced, when he gave me the phone back I went to log into the phone with my fingerprint and noticed the fingerprint scanner was loose. So I had to go back in and he had to tear the phone apart again and set the fingerprint scanner back in place. Reason, I give two stars instead of one is because a lot of this was my fault for not taking the time to shop around and being gullible enough to fall for the upsell on the screen protector. I've since checked around and you can get an S8 screen for $250 elsewhere. I knew the $400 was high but they have a lot of good feedback on yelp and google so I figured I pay for high quality service. Well, they broke my other screen, made me come back, broke it again when they put it together and had the nerve to sell me a screen protector for 4 times the cost when they should have just given me one. BTW, the screen protector has already develeped 2 different cracks in it. Oh well, live and learn! read more

I shattered my iPhone 8 Plus screen pretty bad a few months back and I went and talked to Joe at SmartFix. Not only is he honest but he does very good and solid work. He's by appointment only and yet he's always busy so to me that's a sign of a good business/employee relationship. He uses high quality material and is very skilled and knowledgeable with electronics and their components. His prices are reasonable and he's fairly quick. Yesterday I had him install a CLEARPLEX screen and back cover protector. Such a great investment. It literally makes your phone shatter resistant. I originally took my phone to get fixed somewhere really cheap but ended up having to pay double. The cheap guys broke my LCD and didn't cover it so I paid for their mistake. Took my phone to Smartfix for the same repair for just a few more dollars than I originally paid to the Cheap guys and they flawlessly completed it and even hooked me up with a screen protector to prevent another accident. If I could give this store negative stars I would. My wife cracked her screen on her Samsung S8+. We had insurance so we contacted this store because of the good reviews on yelp. We set up an appointment, went to their storefront and waited and waited and waited. No one showed up. Finally we got a hold of the owner and he set another appointment to come out to our home. After a little back and forth they finally did the repairs. Around a week after the repairs the screen started to have weird colors on it and it would freeze up. We tried and tried to get in contact with them to have it looked at. We tried phone calls, text messages and emails. After several months we were able to set another appointment. When my wife went over he denied that it was his fault and told her that she should have tried to come in sooner. He refused to help her but did say that she could pay to have it fixed again. If I could sit outside of his business and warn customers away I would! What a horrible business and an even worse owner! read more

I would give this place negative stars if I could. I took my sons tablet here to get the screen fixed, and they quoted me my price and I decided to just go for it even though it was a bit pricey and more expensive than other places that quoted me. Well it took them a week to "fix" it. Then I go to pick it up and they tell me right then (the day I was to pick it up) that they turned it on and realized the LCD was broken too (AFTER they had already glued the screen down). The guy even said idk why the tech didn't turn it on before gluing it to make sure the screen worked. So he said they have to put a new LCD in and that it would cost me $40 and another week! When I refused to pay another 40 after they already charged me a lot he said he'll put the LCD in for free. A week and a half later I was able to pick my tablet back up. First of all that took way too long to fix a screen. And this is the worst part, the VERY next day the screen started lifting at the top! So I was going to go take it back the next day, the screen broke and cracked! Out of no where. By the way, it was even in an outterbox case. When I called them 3 days after I originally picked up the tablet, and told them what the screen did, instead of fixing THEIR mistake, they said it would be another $40 to fix it!! Less than a week later! They obviously used a crappy screen or didn't place it right since it start lifting less than 24 hrs later. But I am very upset at them. So I never went back for them to take more of my money for shitty work. I will NEVER return to these people and I am telling anyone that talks to me about cracked screens. DO NOT go to these people. They just take your money in return for crappy work that doesn't last. read more

If you have a cracked screen this is the place to go! I had to turn in my sons phone as he had switched carriers but the screen was cracked to his phone so had to get it fixed before turning it in. I called around to get prices and told them all that it needed was the screen fixed but everyone was giving me super high prices close to $200 and over just to fix it, I told them I didn't need anything else done but I kept getting told oh we have to do this and do that. came in to fix my cracked iphone 6 plus screen & cracked camera lens was waiting for my phone to be done getting fixed & the male worker came out to show me my new screen & lens where fixed then he goes to open the camera app & show me the back camera is working & it's completely black so he goes back in again to fix it & comes out & tells me the camera lens is cracked that he'll have to order a new one so i agree to come back & the same day they replaced my screen it cracks they use cheap products! so when the new camera lens comes in i go drive all the way back to get it replaced then they say they can't fix it because the lens wasn't what i paid for they said i paid for a new camera which is not true the lens is not connected to the camera there two different parts i do not recommend them they have cheap prices but also cheap off brand parts not apple brand i see why now the price was so cheap read more

I took my iPhone 6+ in for water damage processing. I knew I was going to need a new screen. I took the phone on a Saturday and was told the phone would be ready in 48 hours. I called 48 hours later and my phone had not been done and I was told it would be another 24 hours. I called again 24 hours later and was told my phone needed a screen ( which I already knew) and to come pay for the screen and it would be sent overnight and my phone would be ready. I go to pay for the screen and was told I missed the deadline and my screen wouldn't be in until the next day. He allowed me to take the phone because I had been without a phone for a week. The next day my screen came in, it was replaced bad it worked well. Here I am 2 weeks later and my lock button was getting stuck. I took it to another shop who opened it up and was told my phone was never processed for water damage and her showed me the areas that I was told were cleaned up. To make a long story short, don't take your phone here. They had my pay for a service that I didn't receive. read more
