I dropped my iphone7 and with ballistic glass still had cracked the screen. Googled nearby repair and found SmartPhone City. Emailed before store open hours and received a response about an hour before their official opening which was a pleasant surprise. I went to the Waxhaw location. After a quick diagnostic I was told about 15-20 min to replace the glass as that was all he believed needed to be done. Sure enough, right on time, he was done and everything works great. No problems He also made sure everything was intact and working properly before returning it to me. Reasonable quote and that's what I paid. The gentleman who took care of me was polite and had good communication with me, no complaints. The storefront is sparse inside. My friend broke his iPhone screen while skateboarding, so after applying some bandages, I drove him to SmartPhone city, as this place was one of the closest phone repair stores. Upon arrival, the guy who runs the place was able to replace the shattered screen in under 15 minutes. I was very impressed! To prevent further damages, my friend also purchased a screen protector, which was priced $7.45. I felt that to be a very low price, and asked to buy one as well. The guy said "Well, normally it would be $15 to get a screen protector, he got his for $7.45 because he also had repairs done. But I'll put yours on for the same price." Very nice guy. I could NOT find anybody in Monroe that would replace the battery in my S10 / yes old cell. I'm cheap, so be it. I bought the battery online, but again, no one would touch it. I was referred to "someplace in Mattews". I went online again and located SmartphoneCity. Being familiar with the Matthews area, it wasn't a drive. Awesome and reliable service. They answered my call on first ring and provided potential price range for quote to fix my phone that I couldn't charge. I was getting really nervous as my battery was about dead and could not plug in and I couldn't see any issues with it.
