The owner, Ildar, refuses to take any responsibility, ignores all concerns, and has zero interest in fixing his mistakes. He make only promises he will be here Never happened. PTZ cameras failed several times from day one, he fixed it one time but after that he said he's not going to do it he wants more money. When I did my research I found it a lot of red flags with wire connection and wire installations was not done correctly. He tried to blame in me I did something. I even paid for a professional site survey from another company , which clearly outlined what needed to be corrected: 1. Add surge protectors on the NVR and the switch in the sauna. 2. Replace the PTZ camera with 2 fixed lens cameras (or at least upgrade to higher gauge wiring). 3. Re-run cables at least 1 ft away from power lines to prevent interference. 4. Add new cable for an additional camera. 5. Install backyard cameras in a proper criss-cross setup. 6. Update firmware to the latest version and reprogram all cameras. 7. Activate microphones and post required "Audio & Video Recording" notices. 8. Enable WDR and adjust motion sensitivities. 9. Rewire the PTZ camera inside the garage--current wiring is overtightened with staples, wrong gauge wire, and unstable connectors. 10. Entire wire needs to be removed and install correctly to avoid any interference and damages in future . All of these are basic corrections to remove hazards and bring the system up to standard. Ildar has refused to address any of it. Don't waste your time or money with this company. Before we start building the deck the camera did not work already he going to twist the stories in his favor .Please review entire record This owner is a liar. Learn from my mistakes. I was told a man would be available that Saturday and I contracted to pay over 400 dollars for the new antennae with installation. The person was on time and performed the service. I received fewer channels than I did before but was told that the reception for them would be reliable. The installer I discovered was a contractor unfamiliar with my area. I paid the bill with my bank card. Within 24 hours the exact same problem I had before the installation of Pixelation and the Lack of signal p reoccurred. I called Patrick and he was unable to set a date for a return visit to correct the problem. A week later due to air quality issues (Canada Wildfires), he was unable to get an installer to come and I was understanding and called back when the air quality was acceptable (one week later). At the time I did not know how to measure the signal quality and have since learned how and am including a picture showing the poor signal quality for a major network channel. It is now a month later and over a dozen phone calls and Patrick does not answer my calls. His mailbox is frequently full, and he has made no attempt to live up to the service level he committed to in the pre-sales conversation. I am now working with Angi and my Bank to get VIP Telecom to fix the problem. The service reliability is worse than it was and I am out over 400 dollars. As a disabled Senior Citizen, I am unable to climb up to the roof to fix it myself and I feel that VIP Telecom has taken advantage of me. I created and claim with Andgi and my bank and I told them that my intent is to get VIP to fix the problem and feel that I must now warn others not to trust this company. Be forewarned, the service level of VIP Telecom is great until you pay, then becomes a ghost when you have a problem. I would never use VIP or Angi again for any future needs.

The Security Guy stood out against the other two. I met Corey Nydick for a "walk through" of the office space and he explained to me how the buzzer intercom system would work and I was sold. Within a week of the "walk through", we scheduled installation, which included an exterior station with built in camera, interior station with monitor, magnetic lock, keypad to unlock the door (key less entry), an exit button, power supply, and a back up system for power loss or surge. Bob, the technician, was also great. He was respectful of the space (i.e., cleaned the mess that was made via installation). The problem with that is the fact that "The Security Guy" as many other similar services are insisting on signing at least 1 year contract (with a $650 installation) or 3 years contract (with a free installation). It makes it "sign and pray" scenario, when a good customer service attitude might turn to a worse, once a 3 years service agreement is signed. The monitoring company will have no incentive to provide a quality customer service once agreement is signed because customer is trapped in 3 years contract. I am not sure that this is a good business model from the customer point of view. P.S. I gave a 3 stars rating just because I do not like the contract structure that is offered by the company for home alarm installation.
