M3 is the best print shop on the planet. For the first time, I found that the darks were a little too dark, (contrast slightly too pumped,) on my contemporary art business card image. I called Chris at M3 and told him I wanted the shapes and nuances of light to show a little more in the dark areas as it was on my previous dazzling M3 card. He said, no problem; send us the previous card with a note and we'll reprint the cards. The shiny surface, sharp focus, thickness of the cards, punchy color...--these guys are simply the best! The man who reprinted my book (due to a major mistake) took over 1 hour to print the first five covers again (a 10 minute job). I know this is a black owned business, but they have White men working for them who don't seem to care if they make major mistakes like putting offensive text on the cover of a political zine. (A final fantasy reference to a cartoon that is a goofy duck- not in the original file). They don't seem to understand that their jokes are in line with the reputation of a Black business And I would say print here, but I was met with hostility by the staff and ultimately waited a very long time for the correction to be made. On my endless search for the perfect printer for my business cards and flyers and I m was told by one of my friends to try m3 from Philly. I was immediately blown away by the variety of services they offered. Not only will they handle all your printing needs, no matter how big or small, but they can also provide graphics design services all at a fraction of the price that I was used to paying. I tried a small order at first. The prices were simply a bit low, so I thought they would skimp on the materials. So this would be a trial run. When I sent the file, about an hour later, I received an email from m3 stating that they had found an error in the design and attached the original file and the fixed version for comparison, stating that they had corrected it and wanted to make sure it was ok with me. This was such a small thing that meant a lot! I personally can't believe that I missed the detail, but I'm impressed they they noticed AND fixed it! I was blown away. After giving the green light on the new file, it was less than 24 hours that I got a confirmation that my order had shipped. I had the flyers at my door 2 days later. I anxiously opened the box, half expecting something to be wrong. Nope. Not a thing. The print was high quality, the card stock was solid, the colors were vibrant and I got MORE than I originally ordered considering the fact that I sent them a bad file to begin with! Everything that I need printed from, now on will be done trough m3 and everyone that I know will know about this printing company. When you find a unicorn, you have to catch it. One aspect of my job is to organize academic lectures, which are advertised publicly throughout the city and local suburban universities. I have found that good old-fashioned hard-copy invitations are the best way to bring in attendees - especially those who do not access their email often (yes, those people still exist!) I needed a few business cards and had a misunderstanding about the terms of the order. Given that orders are zero tolerance non-refundable once placed, I thought I was at a loss, but M3 was able to accommodate by adjusting prices and quantities. There was a phone tag hiccup. What's interesting was that I made an account just to get a quote and the misunderstanding was the result of a preemptive courtesy call. Everything was remedied in the end. As for the print/crop jobs themselves... everyone was pleased. We'll re-up with M3 when we decide to get more. Recommended! read more

UPDATE #2: After giving out a few cards, I hit closer to the middle of the deck and what do I find, cards that are completely misaligned and crooked. I don't understand how they can possibly pass QA. This has been the worst possible experience. I don't want the hassle of going through reprints cause you can't get it right on the first or even second attempt. I want a full refund cause apparently you can't get it right!! UPDATE: The second revision came out better, hence the upgrade in stars, but still not perfect. Both the front and the back are still not centered and it is quite noticeable. The colors are better as well as they do not look as faded. The curves are actual curves and not scissor cut. However, given the fact that the cards are still not properly printed and the original lack of QA, i cannot go above two stars. Printing business cards, especially for rush delivery, should be done right the first time as it is time sensitive, not a week after. For that reason alone this company doesn't deserve more than two stars. ---- At one point, this company was solid, but as of recently, they have completely fallen off!! They offer no proofs (unless you pay for it), which makes sense now since the first print was completely screwed up and they didn't want to scare you away with their poor quality of printing. I specifically sent my images ahead of time and verified they would print properly, however, when i went to go pick up my business cards (which i ordered rush delivery on), they were not centered on either the front or back. The rounded edges looked as if someone used scissors and manually cut a few of them. The colors looked old and warn out. They are currently in reprint and i was told i would get complementary shipping for the mistake. However, promised shipping is set at 10 business days from the original order date. I ordered them rush for a reason, which obviously fell through. I had to fight to get a refund for the rush, which only was returned as store credit (MOST LIKELY WILL NEVER BE USED SINCE I REFUSE TO USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN). I was told by co-workers to stay away, but the price was too good to pass up. Everyone, please beware as you get what you paid for with this company!! So let me first admit that I dropped the ball on a postcard that needed to be printed. Thinking I had more time than I had, I was suddenly faced with a crazy deadline. I called a close friend who is a graphic designer and she recommended M3 to me and THANK GOODNESS! Mike Amann was my sales rep and he couldn't have been nicer or more efficient. I enjoy getting my stuff printed from M3. Mike my agent always helps me set up my orders and makes sure everything is good to go before they are fun through. The quality of the printing is always very vibrant and cut cleanly. My only complaint with them is that I have a small buisness so I often order smaller quantities and the boxes they put my orders in are often much oversized. Seems like a little bit of a waste! I called to get a quote on some stickers to be done by the end of the week, a rush job. The salesperson I spoke with told me she would call me, "right back". Two hours later I called her back, and she told me she would get back to me in twenty minutes. She never called back. The next morning I called again and was told by a different salesperson that they were very sorry for what had happened and that yes they could get my order filled for Friday. The order was not finished on Friday. They told me they were sorry and that the order would be filled Monday. Which is too late, because I needed them for Friday. In school you'd get a grade reduction for this, or an F, I have not been offered a partial refund or even credit towards the future. Maybe don't use them for rush jobs. There are other printers in Philly that I've had better experiences with. I hate to flame them but this was a failure to complete the job on their part. read more

I hate M3 Printing. I had been using them since 2004. Last year for biggest production THEY PROMISED me they would have 3,000 16 page STEAM Edition program books designed for children's theater turned around for our largest shows. We could pick them up at 10am I went to pick them up at the designated time and they were not ready. They were not ready until after all threes shows were over. We had three shows back to back for a total of 1800 children who did not receive the program. We had boxes of programs we had to throw away. They promised they would take care of it next December (since we had been going to them for so long) for our annual holiday production . The next December they pretended they had no idea what I was talking about. We are already a theater company doing work in Camden. We can never throw money out the window like that. I had business cards designed here, and the graphic designer did a great job. However, now that I need the cards printed, I requested on three separate occasions to have different paper samples sent to me - and still, after 3 1/2 weeks, I still haven't received anything. To top things off, I just received an email telling me my samples would be sent "within a week". I've already been waiting 3 1/2 weeks!!!!!! Needless to say, I would never recommend this printing service to anybody. So many competitors that do the same exact thing, there's no need to deal with this level of incompetence. read more
