Using Angi I contracted VIP Telecom to replace my existing antennae which was giving me unreliable reception of my Over The Air Television. I spoke with Patrick Cullis who assured me that they could resolve the problem and ensure I would get more reliable service with a new antennae. I was told a man would be available that Saturday and I contracted to pay over 400 dollars for the new antennae with installation. The person was on time and performed the service. I received fewer channels than I did before but was told that the reception for them would be reliable. The installer I discovered was a contractor unfamiliar with my area. I paid the bill with my bank card. Within 24 hours the exact same problem I had before the installation of Pixelation and the Lack of signal p reoccurred. I called Patrick and he was unable to set a date for a return visit to correct the problem. A week later due to air quality issues (Canada Wildfires), he was unable to get an installer to come and I was understanding and called back when the air quality was acceptable (one week later). At the time I did not know how to measure the signal quality and have since learned how and am including a picture showing the poor signal quality for a major network channel. It is now a month later and over a dozen phone calls and Patrick does not answer my calls. His mailbox is frequently full, and he has made no attempt to live up to the service level he committed to in the pre-sales conversation. I am now working with Angi and my Bank to get VIP Telecom to fix the problem. The service reliability is worse than it was and I am out over 400 dollars. As a disabled Senior Citizen, I am unable to climb up to the roof to fix it myself and I feel that VIP Telecom has taken advantage of me. I created and claim with Andgi and my bank and I told them that my intent is to get VIP to fix the problem and feel that I must now warn others not to trust this company. Be forewarned, the service level of VIP Telecom is great until you pay, then becomes a ghost when you have a problem. I would never use VIP or Angi again for any future needs. read more

I recently cut the cable with Verizon and dropped my cable TV and changed my phone service to digital. Most of my TV viewing is via Internet streaming but I really wanted to be able to watch local TV. I bought an inexpensive indoor antenna from Amazon but it was worthless so I did a quick Google search and VIP was pretty much the only digital antenna installer I could find in the Philly area. I left them a voicemail on Saturday afternoon and received a callback shortly after. They were supposed to come on Monday to do the installation but they called Monday morning and asked if they could come Tuesday instead. I agreed and on Tuesday they showed up, installed a monster antenna on my roof, spliced into the old coaxial cable outside the building and in no time I had 60+ channels of local TV, mostly from Philadelphia but also a couple of Allentown stations. Hubby asked if they would install a new TV antenna on our roof by email on Sunday afternoon. I was surprised they called less than an hour later. He gave me quotes if we just needed now wiring and if they'd have to install a new one. Then he said they'd come Tuesday afternoon between noon and 4 PM, and would call before they came. Very friendly, business-like man. I even asked why he was working on a Sunday afternoon, and he told me they work all hours, so someone gets a day off any day of the week, but they can still keep working. I asked for their telephone number, just in case. At 4:30 PM, I called to find out why they didn't come, except the phone number wasn't working. (The phone number on this page, so I didn't write it wrong.) Hubby emailed back to find out what happened. No response to email. No phone call. And I just called the number three days later. Mail-box is full but I could still leave a message. Useless business! Unless you like waiting around for no one to show up and no one to ever respond to you again, find someone else. read more

Excellent from start to finish. Called to schedule an appointment within 24 hours. I was out of town and my wife was away from the house when the service tech arrived to remove an antenna that had broken and was hanging off our roof. The tech called me and I explained that I could not be sure when my wife would be home. The tech said he'd wait for a little while but as it turns out, my wife was delayed and didn't get home for several hours. I assumed we'd need to reschedule but instead, the tech removed the antenna. We didn't even know it was gone till the next day. They sent me an invoice for the agreed amount. Although I'd never worked with them before, they performed the service trusting that I'd promptly pay. Of course my check was in the mail the next day. I'm glad to recommend an honorable company that puts customers first. read more
