We have been happy with the unit, but I received a notice in October that our rate was being increased over 30% after being in the unit only 4 months. This was very frustrating. The staff that have been in the office have been very friendly and helpful, including Stephon, Javes, and Ferona. They explained the policies of Public Storage, which you need to really understand in order to make an informed decision. Your units are subject to a 6 month lock in. They counted November as month 6 to increase the rates. I would give 3 stars, but the office staff have been friendly and the units are clean.

Trying to move out and I don't want to touch my stuff and mgmt is telling me I can't pay cleaning fee to have them throw out my items that are contaminated by their negligence of routine maintenance of a building and created conducive conditions like broken air conditioning, humidity, and dark areas for rats to live, and won't close my account until unit is empty! As with any rational human being, I am concerned about where I leave my belongings. First and foremost, I want to make sure that the items are SECURE. (crazy?) When I called to get more information and potentially make a reservation, the first thing I asked was: "what sort of security do you have at the facility?" (something to that effect). The gentleman who answered seemed VERY taken aback. Like shocked. Offended. In fact, he told me and I quote, "no one has ever asked about that before". What?!? People don't ask what sort of security one has at a facility whose only purpose is to safely secure one's possessions? I asked him "how long have you worked at this place?". He said "five years". FIVE YEARS and I am the ONLY person to have asked this question (which he didn't want to answer btw). Does that sound true to you? To anyone? No. It sounds insane. So hey! OWNER. Send me a DM. It never dawned on me to write a review on this place, but now I must. I have had my storage unit…read morewith Atlantis for I believe a little over 5 years now. Not only our their prices great, but my unit is gigantic and I was able to fit my entire apartment in there. Most other places that I shopped around for were double the price for what I am paying here for the same size unit and the ceiling was not high. This unit goes all the way to the top. Now for the staff, they are the very nice and accommodating. I lost my debt card once, which is what I had set up for auto debit, I called to let them know and they were nice enough to wait an extra week for me to receive my new card in order to make the payment. That was so appreciated. The place isn't anything fancy, but I don't really need for it to look pretty I just need a space to make sure my stuff fits. They off I believe storage for boats also and of course air conditioned or Non-air conditioned units. Now live in Miami, but I won't leave my unit up there :).
