I went to hair graphics after a really bad haircut in another shop. I was a walk in, and asked if…read morethere was someone available. A young lady was brought to me, and I thought she was the shampoo girl. The other stylists all had nice clothes on, and their hair done. This young lady was wearing torn (possibly dirty) jeans and an old t-shirt. Her hair looked like she just rolled out of bed. I was hopeful though. After a bad experience prior, this young lady listened to what I wanted. She did give me a great shampoo. I didn't feel like she finished the style, as my hair looked messy, so I asked to have some curl put into the style. I also had my eyebrows done. She did a great job with that. I'd recommend her there! In the end, the haircut was pretty close to what I wanted, and I was able to work with it when I got home. She DID listen to what I wanted, which was more than the first attempt, in another salon had done. I started to wonder if any of the younger stylists care how they look, since this was the second stylist, (at the other salon) that didn't seem to care. I read some really great reviews about Hair Graphics but, in the end, I gave this experience just an "OK' rating. It's just my opinion but, looks matter when you are walking into a salon for the first time, and I worried that, if the stylist didn't care how she looked, why would she care if I looked ok, walking out?

That was a long time ago my bangs got cut very crooked, but I went back and they corrected it for free; I haven't had any issues since. Go see Matt (Owner) he is a great guy and really does show his care for detail when cutting my hair. He is able to cut men or women's hair and has been in the business many years. Prices start around $9.00 each haircut.

I've gotten several haircuts from him over the years, and decided to add some color to my hair recently. He provided me helpful guidance on which balayage shade would look good with my skin tone. I trust his professional advice and know I'm in good hands when sitting in his chair. His services are more than I typically spend on a haircut, but it's well worth it! I always feel like a million bucks when I walk out of the salon after a cut from Genc! My friends that don't live in the area have even considered flying into dc just to get a balayage from Genc. Genc made sure to check my temperature upon my arrival at the salon, I signed a consent form, he sanitized my hands and his of course, masks on for both of us. Too notch safety measures were taken. Oh! And he has a separate room for his clients (away from the common space) In and out in 30 :-) I highly recommend.
