I showed her a picture and said I wanted to go darker with subtle highlights around my face. When it was done it was BLONDER. I immediately started saying I didn't think it looked right and it had too much of a reddish tone somehow and wasn't dark enough and she straight up just told me it looked exactly how it was supposed to and I needed to see it in different lighting. But I was telling her it didn't look right and she didn't careI felt so uncomfortable and it was so late I knew she was just rushing me out. She kept saying "don't you love it?!" Over and over and I felt so uncomfortable I just said yes and left. I tried really hard over the last few days to get used to it and like it but it's the exact opposite of what I wanted and I'm beside myself that I spent $300 for my hair to look horrible. Stylists: your clients are literally always right. Hate to break it to you but it's THEIR body. If they don't like it, no matter what the excuse, fix it. Don't argue with them. It's belittling and mean. Now I'm embarrassed to try to go back because she made me feel so bad. But felt like making sure everyone else knew my experience. UPDATE: Emily was AMAZING. She fixed my hair so perfectly and couldn't have been any nicer. I am blown away by today's experience at this salon. Management and my stylist were so kind to help fix this issue and I'm so happy with how it turned out. THANK YOU! I will definitely be going back to Emily.

The salon refused a refund but offered to have a more "experienced" stylist redo it the following week. I lost half a day and no longer have confidence in the salon's ability to provide services for my wedding party. After I asked to speak with someone above the salon manager, my calls were screened, went unanswered, or I was left on hold for extended periods. When I called from a different number, however, my calls were answered quickly. I truly did not want to leave a negative review. Making this right would have been incredibly simple with a refund for a bridal trial that their own team acknowledged was not acceptable work.

In January, they were running a promotion for the spa - spend $50 in Jan redeem for $100 in March. So at checkout I asked about it and said, "let's do it." I asked to go ahead & book the service. I paid the $50 and booked a facial for March. Never had a facial there. Don't know the people. Just wanted to use my promotional balance. Well, conveniently I was booked with someone who did not qualify for the promotional balance. Didn't find out until it was time to pay in March after the service was performed. So I paid $250 for a 30 minute service that should've cost me $150. On a previous trip, I spent THIRTY ONE MINUTES booking a next appointment for a highlight. Not 31 minutes waiting, 31 minutes booking. It literally took her that long to find a time that worked with my stylist 3 months out. The front desk staff is totally incompetent and the business doesn't operate with integrity. So disappointing.

To start, I had issues making my appointment. I was out of the country so I had my mother call and book with April. Later I was told April is not accepting new clients. After this, I booked online with Lindsey. That appointment was canceled due to my request for ombré. I was sent an email offering me an option for another stylist which I was not comfortable with so instead they just outright cancelled THAT appointment as well. I didn't know this until I called to confirm (when I got back into the US) the day before only to be told I had no appointment. The woman answering the phone told me CeCe was good with color and was sure she would do an amazing job so reluctantly I booked with her. The day of the appt CeCe was on time and pleasant. However, I brought a photo of the exact look I wanted. This is where the problem began she began to bring ME swatches asking ME what I thought of such and such color. She stated she saw purple in the photo! I didn't see it, but I'm not a stylist either all I can do as the client who flies airplanes for a living (mind you I don't go out and ask other people what to do to do my job properly) she was asking what do you think if this color? I brought a PHOTO I want that. So finally she settled and began. CeCe painted three inches of my root color a burgundy wine color! It was BLOCKED not "melted" Then the overall color was reddish not brown like the photo I showed which was beautiful brown with melted caramel highlights in it! I was shocked and even that day in the salon I said my roots look odd. She stated it was the light. It was when I got home and took photos that I could really see what had been done! I called the salon and CeCe agreed to correct the mistake two days later. That day I took my mother with me in case it was me not communicating what I need effectively. CeCe was defensive and it made me uncomfortable. She actually argued with my mother in front of the salon causing a bit of an interest for other coworkers to watch. She "corrected the color" which pretty much took me back to my original color and then when it was done she said "Oh I had to cover the ombré part because of what you ask me to do" I was VERY clear that was the ONLY part I liked!!! The color was not right but I told her I loved the dimensions. The day I went in for correction, she did not charge but I don't expect someone to work for free either so I purchased shampoo and conditioner and put a tip on top of that. I went home and when I finally washed my hair the color WASHED OUT!! So I paid not once but TWICE to get not a single thing I wanted and to lose the one thing I liked about my hair!!! I reached out stating the color was not what I ask for and in addition, the distinct wine color used at my root was unflattering, harsh and in some spots actually made me look bald. This whole process has been extremely upsetting but what makes the matter worse is I've now contacted them several times with no response. Clearly they do not care. If you are looking for a salon this is not the place!!

It's been over a year and the curls are still holding, which I've never had, always had straight hair. I've also had color and foilyage services from her, as well as cut and style and she knocks it out of the park every time. My most recent style and foilyage I absolutely love! She asks all the right questions, sells the best products and takes her time. She is a step above the rest, a true seasoned stylist.
