I asked why it wouldn't be £18 given what I was told on the phone but she wasn't interested. She had already rung through the full £18. I said that I wanted a refund but I was there several minutes while she was trying to operate the machine. When I suggested she give me back cash if the machine wasn't working she kept trying to make it was very rude. Non existent customer service. For being so tight fisted she has lost my business when she could have had a loyal customer spending hundreds and hundreds of pounds. I would never go back there again.

She also claimed that the company they send their clothes away to are independent and that they "usually" follow requests to cover delicate buttons, etc, but otherwise didn't seem too bothered, and insinuated that ruining the leather trimmings of garments was normal. They immediatly got on the phone to the tailor, who came in on a Saturday to measure me up! Their seamstress was much like the rest of the staff in there, professional, welcoming and offered honest advice. I required the whole dress to be taken up from the zip by 2 inches with a very tricky mesh material and it only cost £20.00. I am delighted with the outcome of the dress and would like to thank all the staff at Excel for their excellent service.
