This place was terrible. They give you a shield that kept falling apart. The price is so expensive for people to go and smash bottles, for a max of 20 minutes. We paid for 2 people $145. The room we were in was full of boxes and other broken items. It over all was terrible. We did the one level up of price but we got a small tv to smash and 2 coffee cups and 2 plates. It's not worth it. It was not at all worth the drive and especially the money. read more

This was a fun activity! Didn't even know something like this even existed. A couple of us got together abs decided to do this for a Friday night. We needed to sign a waver , wear heavy duty protective gloves and a shield. You go in a room where there are just glass bottles. Atleast that's the package my friend chose. In the room There were different tools to Use such as bats, hammer, a huge wrench. We made sure to get every single piece and SMASH it! This is really good if you have lots of stress built up ! 3.5 Love that this place exists so close by and that it's a locally owned biz. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted. For 20 minutes we got to take our aggression out on a variety of objects. I did upgrade and add some extras which the team didn't seem to be prepared for but they did bring in extra large size items and crate of bottles. We had a great time but it is quite dangerous to have shrapnel flying everywhere. Despite where long sleeves and pants and of course sneakers there was glass everywhere: shoes and hair so please proceed with caution. Again a good time but I will say quite pricey for the time allowed (20 min) and for primarily breaking glass bottles. read more

A group of 15 booked a room at Foxwoods casino and paid in full before we arrived 2 weeks prior to booking date. When we arrived at Foxwoods we were informed the location was permanently closed, even Foxwoods security had no idea they had closed at that time. Currently disputing the charge with my credit card, getting a hold of the owner has been next to impossible. There were three of us and we were smashing tv's, plates, bowls and even telephones. You get a twenty minute session and smash away with sledgehammers, bats, crowbars- so great! Booking can be done online. You'll need to fill out a waiver from your phone. Everything is disinfected after every use. You'll get gloves and face shields to protect yourself. No open toed shoes. Wear shirts with sleeves. This was my friend's birthday gift and we all had a blast! I can't wait to go back. Such a fun memory. You can also buy a highlight video of your smashing. What a unique place, I have never been at a "smash" room before and have been wanting to try it out. The staff member was friendly and had the room readily set up for us. The protective gear was good for the most part, but my fiancé ended up with a small cut on his leg from the glass (please wear pants and shoes with thick soles). The front desk was ready with a bandaid so it was an easy fix. We got a box of extra glass bottles to break during our session which was awesome! My favorite tool was the sledgehammer. My boyfriend surprised me with a date here when I was really stressed out from work. We really enjoyed our session, we just wish it was longer! We also wish we had fewer glass bottles in our smashing inventory or that they showed us how to break the bottles in a better way. We kept getting hit with debris which eventually started to hurt. My bestie & I have been talking about this place for 2 years and we finally made it. It was worth the wait post Covid. They did a great job disinfecting their equipment, providing you with disposable gloves to go under the work gloves they lend you. We smashed the shit out of plastic, wood & electrics. Of course we all would like to break glass & ceramics, but they can't happen in this place when your literally smashing everything in sight around you. Safety first and they do a great job of that. I took my Dad to the rage room because we just recently loss my brother/his son. So we NEEDED the rage room. When we got a look at what was in the room we were a little disappointed, thinking there would be more to smash. We expressed how we felt about the room to one of the workers and explained our situation. We requested at least a dresser to just beat up. He worked with us and brought one in. Which ended helping us. He said something along the lines "you guys are the customers, whatever you guys need to be happy and help, I'll try to work with you". Was a good experience and definitely helped with the workers being helpful and understanding. read more

Had fun, but definitely a lot of room for improvement. First off, this was my first time doing a rage room and it was fun; however, there were some things that were disappointing: 1) Weird interaction with staff: a) there was only staff member that we saw, which was fine, but first he told us that the bottle bombs were not available because his Aunt makes them and she was at the grocery store and wouldn't be there in time for our session. Considering we booked a week in advance, it seemed like poor timing. Since this was one of the smashables for which we paid extra and were really looking forward to, we were disappointed. b) there were gnats in the check in area, which was kind of gross. Staff member apologized and told us it was because of the bottles. c) we paid for the highlight video- save your money. The staff member literally stood in one spot in the room for about 2-3 minutes with an iPad and then left. 2) Facilities could have been cleaner: the gnats, the high pile of broken glass and smashed objects from previous smashers in the back of the room, the piece of wood covering the electrical in the room, the "weapons", the gloves, the face shields... couldn't tell how often they were cleaned. 3) Room setup: our session was the Go Hard or Go Home with multiple "extras" for a total of about $330 for two of us. Wish it would have been setup better rather than bottles spread out on the floor. Wish they would've done like a "themed" room- like a dining room or living room setup- even garage- something. Just felt like I could've gone and picked up this stuff from Craig's List for free and smashed stuff in my garage for much cheaper. 4) Safety: all you get is a pair of gloves and a face shield. Ended up being fine, but we were pretty careful. Definitely expected a bit more protective equipment to be provided, like eyewear. Face shield dug into my forehead pretty uncomfortably, even though I took the time to adjust it. 5) Highlights video: We were told it would be about 2-3 days to get the 30 second highlight video. I finally called on the fifth day because we had not yet received it. It was emailed to me a few hours later, which was appreciated, but the video was just very poorly done and edited. I ended up re-editing the 30 second video to make it somewhat salvageable. I emailed and asked Smash Ave if I could have the full length video, but, having been several days since my email and there has been zero response, I'm not optimistic. Overall, the actual smashing was fun, but that's about it. If I do another rage room, I will look around for another spot... read more

It was a great time! However, we only had 15 minutes to spend in the room when I was under the impression that we had 30 minutes. The website and confirmation email are misleading. Also, the gloves they give you, suck! I cut my finger and the were ripped by the end. Fun time but they need to be more clear with the time limit and provide more durable gloves. The room could have been bigger as well! I was with a group of 4 but it was still a bit cramped. read more

If you've never been to a rage room I strongly recommend going to Smash Ave. This was hands down one of the best experiences I've had in my life. Booking my session was super easy and the staff helped to make the experience flow smoothly. It was a great stress reliever and I felt the rush with every swing of the bat.
