The playground is on mulch and had many playscapes; swings, slides, ladders, etc. There were benches in the middle and along the perimeter; there were a few picnic tables as well. It was a cool and rainy day so some spots were muddy. My child's favorite playscape was the one on a sandbox; it has shovels and shoots to put the sand into. This is the first time seeing something like it and we were a fan. There were so much space for kids to run around in. Overall a great neighborhood playground! My toddler still climbs on it when it's not too crowded. It has a lot of ramps and some fun slides. I climb with him or stay close by because there are some openings to climbing structures he cannot navigate that are pretty high up. There are also swings (including baby swings), covered picnic tables, a sand/ digging area, and some outdoor musical instruments inside the fence.

We went with our 2yr old to check out the play area. It is very well done and arranged. It is ADA compatible which in addition to being accepting to everyone makes being a parent easier, ease of access to high areas. My daughter loved the slide that was essentially a string of rolling pins. The only slide of its design I've come across. There are plenty of swings and there is a nice covered area with picnic tables. It is completely enclosed and gated, so it takes a bit for the little ones to get away! Always a plus. In the play area there is a sand box with some shovels, the sand is pretty well used at this point and isn't all that soft but it's useable. There is also a really fun little pipe instrument setup with the gates. If you venture across the street there is some hiking trails in the woods, nothing overly long or daunting but it was nice for a stroll in the woods with the baby and the the dog.

Safety fence with a safety lock to keep kids inside. Huge parking lot. There's also motivational quotes all around with so much color. The buddy beach is bright and there's also a rock sharing area. This park has thought of everything to make everyone have a sense of belonging. The only negative was the picnic tables that are covered are also used for parties. They may come out to ask you to move to accommodate a birthday party. Which was a major pain for us as we had a full on picnic spread out. The staff was very kind and allowed us to stay when they recognized we had a bunch to move.

It opens everyday from 8 am to sunset. There is a porta potty available. This was built in 1996 and was the first all inclusive playground for children of all abilities in the area. We went on a Saturday and it was super busy. You have to keep a hawk eye on your babies because they can get lost in the crowd. There is a pavilion with picnic tables. The play area is fenced in and has plenty of parking. In the end, I can't wait to come back on a weekday when it's less busy.

The ground covering is bouncy and prevents kids from getting hurt if they fall, but it's falling apart. Little rubber particles were already scraping off and I saw several children grabbing pieces of it. I imagine this must also be leeching into the ground.

This is a very thoughtfully designed playground for every child, despite their physical abilities. There are ramps for wheelchairs, so wheelchair users can access the playscape. The ground is in part wood chips and in part padded. If anyone should fall the injuries would be at worst minimal. The playground features swings, slides, a sandbox, see-saws, and much more. My friend's three year old son had a great time playing here. I even took a swing on the swing myself. This playground is dedicated to a little boy named Mikey, who died at just under three years old, from a rare neuromuscular illness. Mikey's Place has brought countless kids together, allowing them to play, laugh and build friendships.
