My first axe throwing and first smash room experience! The staff were friendly and timely in setting things up and checking in on us. I liked the axe throwing more. They have a bulls eye board (which is a little worn and harder to land things on) and a tic tac toe board you can throw at, which is fun. There are a variety of axes and also knives for throwing, which was great! They provide gloves and there is also protective eyewear you can use. The smash room is bigger than I expected, and they provide glass bottles and old tech like printers and speakers for you to smash. You can pick out of an array of weapons like crowbars and baseball bats and golf clubs. Some of the baseball bats are pretty used up and broken. I also thought there'd be more PPE like coveralls or masks or something. There were helmets provided and gloves and eyewear. I was a little worried about the rest of the face. We did wear long sleeves and long pants, which was recommended and a good idea. read more

We signed up for this experience even though we'd never done it before because the business had good overall reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. We were the first customers to arrive when they opened, yet there was no one at the front desk. We stood there waiting until an employee finally came out. He had us sign a waiver even though we had already completed it online. The first thing we noticed was how dirty the place was. There were used Band-Aids and blood-stained alcohol wipes scattered across the check-in counter. It immediately gave us concerns about the cleanliness of the facility. When it was time for axe throwing, the employee asked if we'd done it before. We told him we hadn't, and he replied that he didn't really know how to do it either. The only instruction he gave was that he thought we should hold the axe at the base and throw it. There was no demonstration, no safety briefing, and no guidance. The axes and throwing knives were extremely dull and rarely stuck in the target. At one point, half of the wooden target wall split in two and fell to the floor, exposing the wall behind it. Despite this obvious safety issue, the employee was nowhere to be found. He disappeared into the back office and never checked on us. About halfway through our session, another group of customers arrived and waited nearly 20 minutes before he finally came out. He simply told them to wait while he prepared their rage room. After we finished axe throwing, we had to go find him so we could start the rage room. He told us to give him a minute to set it up but offered no instructions about what we should do in the meantime. We ended up reading the posted signs ourselves because no one explained the process. The rage room itself was very small and contained only a few bottles, two tires, a printer, and a speaker. Our package was advertised as lasting nearly an hour, but we were completely finished in about 25 minutes because there simply wasn't enough to break. Before leaving, we asked to use the restroom. It was just as dirty as the rest of the facility, with used paper towels all over the floor and more discarded bandages. It was obvious the place hadn't been properly cleaned before opening, or possibly for quite some time. Overall, this was one of the worst entertainment experiences we've ever had. Between the lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, minimal instruction, safety concerns, and the disappointing value for the price, we cannot recommend this place. When a customer takes immediate action to correct an honest mistake, a business has the opportunity to resolve it with basic customer service. That never happened here. As for the claim that you "never received" my email: I followed the instructions I was given and sent the email right away. If it didn't reach you, that is still a business-side issue. It doesn't negate the fact that I made every effort to communicate, repeatedly. Been wanting to try one for years and finally bought a package for myself and for my girl who's dad tragically passed away, perfect time to beat out some anger and pain. One of the staff members Terryan helped me book my appointment and was very informative and professional with explaining the process. When we arrived all of the employees were very helpful and accommodating during our session. It was the best decision to do the smash room and was very therapeutic. No frills, get down to business place. Staff was friendly, very trusting. There were cameras everywhere. From the outside, looks small but inside they had a handful of different rooms. The experience was self explanatory. (The only real rules were don't hit the walls or door.) Put on a helmet, a pair of gloves, eye protection and pick your tool off destruction and smash! We paid more than it was worth for a splash painting experience for three people, and unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. We were only given four small cups of paint (about mug-sized) and three small, letter-sized canvases, which felt very limited for the price. The room was set up quickly, but the overall environment felt unclean and poorly maintained. The suits they provide do not properly protect your clothes paint seeps through easily and they are stored in a messy bin, which didn't feel hygienic. The space itself smelled humid, was quite dusty, and the rooms are very small. Additionally, the bathroom did not have paper towels available, making it difficult to clean up afterward. While the staff member assisting us was polite, he seemed disengaged and not very attentive. I'm sharing this so other families don't waste their money, especially if you're planning to bring your kids. We've done a splatter room experience before elsewhere, and it was a much better, cleaner, and more enjoyable experience. I took a large group here for an educational event (1 hour medical education and lunch) and after we smashed!! We had a blast! The space in the front of the building is great for a gathering (they have 3 long foldable tables and lots of chairs; they also have a few bar stools and some side tables which both worked great for my projector and screen.) since we had a large party, we decided to split our smash in to two groups which worked really well bc like the other posts... I don't think it's a good idea to have more than 6 or 7 per room! You wouldn't have enough safe space to swing the bat, crowbar, hammer mallet, or golf clubs they provide. Also, this place WILL accept old electronics as donation! So if you have old spare stuff, bring it here!!!! I took my twins to Smash Kingdom yesterday to get them out of the house. I initially called a couple of times with questions and the gentleman that answered was more than helpful. When we arrived we were a little late but he was very accommodating, patient , and gave us clear instructions on the rules. My sons had a lot of fun smashing things and making noise lol. Great place that my wife and I went too! We had a recent loss in our life and wanted to destroy some stuff to get the anger and sorrow out. The staff and owner was very nice and understanding. They have been under a lot of fire for a Reddit post that claims this business is illegally dumping. They aren't. I even saw the receipts that they do in fact dump legally at a legal place. Do NOT give these people any personal information! The police are now involved. 11/23/25: I'm now receiving emails threatening a lawsuit if I don't remove this review. 11/16/25: To address the business owner's comments: we used one session of the double booking and attempted to dispute only half of the total charge (covering only the erroneous double booking), so I'm not sure how that could qualify as fraud. The owner claims not to keep any personal information, but the credit card dispute case includes photos the owner took of my driver's license and credit card, so that is clearly a lie. Guiltily, I do admit that my Yelp reviews are primarily negative. Like many, I'm only inclined to post when I have a particularly bad experience with a business (like this one) and I take the positive ones for granted. I've never tried to file a credit card dispute before this. 11/13/25 original review: TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - GO ELSEWHERE We booked a session online, but the company double charged us. I immediately and politely contacted them to fix the error but we were told that they have a "no refunds" policy, no matter whether the error was theirs or ours. I very carefully explained how their system messed up but they only ignored my emails. The booking process was pretty infuriating, but we had paid our money so we showed up anyway. They have no parking, so it took a while to find somewhere safe in this neighborhood to leave a car. The items we were provided to smash were pretty lackluster and not satisfying at all to smash. We paid (twice!) to have several "premium" electronics items like TVs or similar, but we were given only a metal printer tray (not even the whole printer, just a metal tray that was near impossible to smash apart), a guitar amplifier (basically just a wooden box, similarly difficult), and a small set of computer speakers. They also advertised that they had sledgehammers as smashing tools, but they only had some golf clubs, baseball bats, and some janky metal pipes. Try the one in San Jose instead of this smash room. You'll likely get better items to smash and won't get double charged. read more
