It was an amazing time!!! I forsure recommend especially if you need to let Some anger out! I went at 9:15 pm on a Friday night and it was a great experience! The guy who helped us was very nice and informative. Forsure come early so you can find parking! Parking was a little hard but ended up parking in a parking garage and it's only a 6 mins walk from the place.

Smash Kingdom is a blast. We had therapy up in that place. Yes, I broke the bat. Yes, the artwork came from our paint time. THERAPY !!!! The owner and staff we so helpful in assisting me with the organization of my birthday party. All my people want to make this a monthly get together.

Final response... (google search pic posted) Hi there, Thanks for your follow-up, but your reply contains several inaccuracies that I need to correct. 1. I never said you didn't call me back -- I said your customer service was dismissive and unhelpful. Facts matter and you are gaslighting. Responding to a text and returning a call does not change the experience itself. The attitude and lack of assistance are what I addressed, and that part is accurate. 2. The "New York location" issue came directly from Google Maps. When I searched for party bus services in my area, your business was listed among local results. Google placed you in the NY service area, which is how I ended up on your page. That is not my "mistake" -- that is a Google listing issue. I don't know what more you want from me here, but I don't work for you. This is your responsibility to fix. Its my job as the customer to highlight it. 3. I never received any email reply, and the person on the phone absolutely gave me the runaround. Being told "email us" is fine. Never receiving a response is not. Claiming I never emailed you -- when I know I did -- is dismissive and not reflective of good customer service. PS. I followed directions and emailed through your platform. Are you now saying your platform does not function as it should? I sent several messages through your direct website. If you didn't receive it, well.... its your website, sir. You want me to fix that too? 4. Your tone here reinforces exactly why I left an honest review. Instead of showing empathy or professionalism, you doubled down, demanded "proof," and essentially accused me of lying -- three separate times. A customer shouldn't have to defend themselves with screenshots just to express that they had a bad interaction with your business. That alone says everything. 5. You keep insisting I attempted to circumvent your refund policy. I did not. My review was not about money -- it was about the experience, the communication, and the attitude I received. Your business does not look out for its customers. Clearly. 6. My review stands as written. My experience with your company was not positive, and your response here confirms the behavior I encountered. Have a great day. (Original post) Be weary of businesses like this. I made an honest mistake, and they wouldn't even return my calls. I accidently booked this place thinking it was Albany, NY. Its listed as Albany NY in the google search, and I called immediately after booking when I realized my mistake. I obviously cannot make a party clear across the country work for my 14 year old's birthday party. Bad business. I understand cancelations affect the bottom line. This was an honest mistake, and they chose to not even respond to me and keep the money. The person I spoke to on the phone gave me the runaround. Response to businesses comment. Hi, and thank you for responding publicly. I'd like to clarify the actual timeline for anyone reading: I called five minutes after the booking. I spoke directly with someone who told me I would receive a call back. I then left multiple additional messages when no one returned that call. No one ever responded -- not once -- until I posted this review. Regarding the location issue: Your business does appear in search results in a way that made it look connected to New York, which is the only reason I booked. When a customer takes immediate action to correct an honest mistake, a business has the opportunity to resolve it with basic customer service. That never happened here. As for the claim that you "never received" my email: I followed the instructions I was given and sent the email right away. If it didn't reach you, that is still a business-side issue. It doesn't negate the fact that I made every effort to communicate, repeatedly. Refund policies are designed to protect businesses from misuse -- not to justify keeping money from a customer who reached out within minutes, spoke to staff, left multiple messages, and used no service whatsoever. You absolutely had the discretion to review this on a case-by-case basis. You chose not to engage at all. No service was used. The request was immediate. I made multiple attempts to resolve it privately. You made a choice to keep the money. I made a choice to leave an honest review.

Room 3 was entirely too small for 6 adult humans swinging dangerous weapons at bottles, windshields, and appliances. I wouldn't put more than 2 or 3 people in it. The stock photos from the business owner are preposterous. Do not wear skimpy clothing. Period.

Whatever you're doing isn't as fun as this. Stop, turn around and prioritize this experience! The staff is super helpful, communicative and will facilitate exactly the right package for you. Want to throw an ax? They got you. Feel like breaking a dial up modem? No problem. Whatever you choose, you will experience a cathartic flow of energy-prepare to surprise yourself! We did the Queen's Smash and brought our entire family of 5. Walked in and the room was filled with tires, plates and computer parts. Get on protective gear and go to town. Smash, smash, smash! It was SO fun! My kids had a great time and it was deeper than most therapy sessions for me. Have fun!

Had a great time today at Smash Kingdom! We had 4 ppl and did the Kings Package which came with a printer, DVD player, plenty of bottles, and 4-5 keyboards. We were able to get into the room quickly and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Some suggestions I would make would be either a full suit for protection or at least shoe covers (we had some little glass pieces stuck on the bottom of our shoes) or maybe a broom left in each room so we could clear some of the debris on the floor between smashes. Overall we had a wonderful time though, felt safe, and would definitely come back again! read more

If I had a choice, I would give 0 stars to this business. My experience was extremely disappointing due to the horrible handling of my customer request. The staff I interacted with were both incompetent and rude, which made resolving my issue even more frustrating. They referenced a policy that either does not exist on their website or was not properly presented to users, leaving me feeling misled and unsupported. I strongly advise others to proceed with caution when dealing with this company. Find another place! There are more around the Bay Area. read more

Went for a friend's birthday as a group. Location is convenient and easy to find. Staff were welcoming, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Staff provided instructions before we started. Staff also accommodated my group as we needed to adjust the start time amongst other things. The environment was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed to enjoy ourselves and remain safe. For example, they have lockers for safekeeping of our valuables, caps to put on under the protective helmet, gloves and safety glasses, and various tools available to smash different types of items. It's a great workout without realizing it. Very fun. A productive way to relieve frustration and anger. I love that they allow you to connect to a speaker in your room to enhance and personalize your experience. The amount of items available to smash was also perfect as it took us a decent amount of time to smash everything before we were tired and ready to be done. This is an amazing black-owned business that I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience a smash house in the Bay Area. read more

Me and my 12yr old reserved the Splatter Bundle but they were also taking walk-ins since it was pretty much empty on an early Friday afternoon. They had hard hats, a couple of goggles but mostly protective glasses, and old gloves. Weapons ranged from really heavy (sledgehammer) to light (golf club). We got a roomba, all-in-one printer, scanner and hella bottles. In the paint room there's cool writing everywhere. They gave us huge old coveralls, two (appx) 12x10" canvases, 3 paint colors each in a cup, brushes, sponges and water. CONS - I didn't see staff disinfect any of the PPE after a group left. NO A/C! It was so hot! Idk where they got their pics for the website because they don't offer gas masks or aprons and there are no cool metal walls or pottery to smash. PRO - It's fun. 45mins for each room is PLENTY of time read more

WARZONE IS NOT WORTH IT. I don't normally leave reviews, but felt I had to this time. We arranged to do the Warzone for a group of up to 12 people. Our group was only 7, 8th grade boys and it was SUPER underwhelming. We waited for 15 minutes for the room to get set up, there was not very much to smash (not even sure what they considered a premium electronic in our room), and everything was pretty much obliterated in 20 minutes. I can't imagine a group of 12 having much fun with how little there was to smash. I would have thought for a group half the size of the package, there would have been more than enough to smash. Disappointing and overpriced. Great concept, but not worth it for 15 minutes of destruction. :( read more

I have been wanting to visit a rage room for a while, and I was excited to discover one in Oakland. I brought two friends as a surprise, and we had a blast! We were ably to easily book a Thursday time slot the day before. We got the 1-3 person smash package, plus the windshield upgrade. I noticed the windshield was recommended in lots of other reviews, and it was definitely worth it. The windshield takes a lot to bash it up good, and it crinkles so nicely after you've given it some good hits! We got to smash up several monitors and some other small electronics. We had a good variety of glass/ceramics -- some were perfect for just slamming to the ground, and others we set up t-ball style using the tires, so we could take nice big swings at them. We got to play our own playlist on the speakers, which was great. Before starting, I thought we might run out of things to smash in our 45min session, but it was actually the perfect length. Safety glasses/goggles, face shields, helmets, and gloves, plus smashing weapons were all provided for us. I loved the baseball bats the best, but my friends were more into the sledgehammers. There were also little crowbars, golf clubs, and something that I think was a ball mace (just round on the end, no spikes, and it worked well as a lighter version of the sledgehammer). Great to have a nice variety available! The employee (owner?) who set us up was super friendly and even complimented our smashing music on the way out. We left exhausted and happy :) A++, definitely plan to smash again, and we also want to come back to try axe throwing. There was one tiny issue: someone else was already using paintball guns in another room when we arrived, and those were super loud, but it didn't continue through our session. I might pack basic earplugs next time just in case of paintball guns going simultaneously, but I am guessing they might provide earplugs if you are actually using the paintball guns. Final advice: inspect your shoes to check for any glass embedded in the soles on your way out, so you don't track it into your house. Go try it, so fun! It was a perfect cathartic experience after we all had some rough life changes this year, and you can definitely count it as your workout for the day. read more

What a fun and cathartic experience. It was perfect for a unique date night! They accommodated a last minute reschedule without any issue which I really appreciated. The guy at the front desk was very helpful and clear with instructions. The only reason I am leaving the four stars instead of 5 is because I feel like for what I paid for there should have been a bit more items in the smash room. Initially there were only a couple of small appliances and lots of glass bottles. We ended up purchasing a glass windshield and two other appliances items for an additional $45 which really added to the overall experience. I would definitely recommend adding extra items if you want the most out of it! All in all it was great fun :) but a bit more expensive than I was expecting. read more

I came here for my friend's baby's first birthday. In Korean culture, a baby's 1-year-old birthday is a HUUUUUGE deal. It's called a Doljanchi or a "DOL"--where the baby wears a hanbok (traditional dress) and there's a ritual (sort of a fortune telling) where a bunch of innocuous objects are placed in front of the baby, ex. a string, a gavel, a coin, a brush, etc. And when the baby picks up the object, say a gavel, then s/he will become a judge...something like that. It's all in good fun. Ironically, the baby did in fact pick up the gavel, which is rare, usually babies pick up the coin or a string since it's lighter and easier to grab. I've seen pictures of my DOL and it's off the hook. There is a bunch of food, especially Korean duk and tons of fruit-- to represent prosperity and long-life. My grandparents (on my dad's side) were so proud to hold me in the photo-- I looked kinda miserable. In fact, I looked like a boy. The reason why DOLs are such a big deal is because traditionally in Korea, most babies didn't survive past their first year of life. Apparently, my mom told me that when I was 3 months old, I got really really sick, and was sick for another 3 months afterward and she was afraid that I wouldn't make it. Dramatic, right? So, when I turned one, she threw a huge party-- "a thankful relief," she said. That's why when I get sick as an adult, I get really sick because my immune system is basically shot. And it's really cute, even today, my mom freaks out when I get sick, because she remembers back to when I was a baby. And always gives me the motherly speech about sleeping more and drinking fluids..and it's one of the rare times I actually allow her to "take care of me." Heck, I think it's the only time I let anyone take care of me. Either way, the celebration was beautiful. So proud of my friend for being such an amazing mother/woman-- and she's really blessed to have such a beautiful child, who will forever love and adore her. Babies are the best, they need you like no other, and I absolutely love taking care of them.

That includes a sound system (for a DJ or you can use their Bluetooth and play your own music), light system, industrial fridge, microwave, a built-in selfie or Photo booth green wall, industrial trash cans, tables, and chairs galore. There's also free and plentiful parking located out back, which was a great built-in perk. There are so many things we loved about this space, including the barn door leading to a cute back patio. Great for creating indoor/outdoor space for guests. Ours used it to watch the trains going by, which was a big hit for the kids. The front of the venue is situated right near a loading dock/overhang area, which came decked out with lights and was perfect for our Piñata. There's also space adjacent the loading dock that worked perfectly for a jumper. We really enjoyed renting this space, and our guests absolutely loved it as well. There are bathrooms by the Redwood Bowl but we couldn't find any helpful maps so just used our phones to navigate. The trail we ended up taking was around 4 miles and took 2 hours. Most of it was shaded and among redwood trees so I really enjoyed that this could work as an afternoon hike. It's a moderate difficulty level with some steep areas. There's also a popular picnic area with grills and an archery range. You could even walk to the nearby swimming pool or visit the Chabot. We only did one half of the hiking loop so will be back to check out the other side.

What the what?? 0_o So, that's on me, kids. My bad. Onto the review... A giant ±1,833-acre redwood forest nestled in the Oakland Hills, this park was a former logging site back in the 1800s. Fortunately, there has been a nice resurgence of redwoods to replace those that were cut down. It ain't old-growth, but we'll take what we can these days. The Good: * Free at certain times of year and at certain entrances (more below) * Mountain biking on certain trails (check map and trail signage) * Horseback riding on certain trails (check map and trail signage) * Camping available (check website for info and reservations) * Reservable and non-reservable picnic tables (check map & website) * Restrooms available in parking lots, as well as at some campsites * Nearly forty miles of trails with something for everyone * If you're looking for a moderate ±4.5-mile loop, go to the Skyline entrance and take the Serpentine Prairie Trail to Dunn Trail to Golden Spike Trail, then back to Dunn Trail The Meh: * $5/vehicle entrance fee on weekends and major holidays between April and October, only at the Redwood Gate entrance * Most of the trails are pretty decent, but some are in rough shape due to water damage The Ugly: * One of the few parks I've seen with "off-leash" sections for dogs--which is fine, except you know there's a good majority of dog owners who think they can control their dogs but really can't. We saw a panicked guy chasing his dog down a trail at one point, and who knows when--if ever--he caught up to it. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Conclusion: Great park with tons of trails and lots to see and do.

Front desk staff was friendly and I was able to sign up for a 10 visit pass for $51, otherwise it's $6 a visit. I figured this will hopefully keep me consistent for the beginning of the year. The facility itself could use an upgrade but overall it is wat you would expect from an older building. The entrance into the pool is through the locker area which has lockers, changing area with benches, showers, and bathrooms. The pool looks fairly clean on the surface and we'll maintained. There are lanes divided into slow, fast, and medium speeds for circle swimming. Much of the demographics is 50+ during the time I went and they were all spaced out fairly evenly. The pool is actually open earlier for swim club members ($55/month) which is nice for early birds and the crowd seems younger at that time. I was told it's open to the public to sign up for that as well. The water itself was a good temperature. The pool goes from 3 ft to 9 ft. The bottom of the pool was clean on the 3 feet side, but had debris on the floor in the 9ft side. Folks would swim for about 30 minutes - 1 hour and more folks would flow into the lanes. Everyone is respectful and the regulars would chat with one another at the walls. There are kickboards and other supplies you can borrow from in a shed if you'd like. There is a lifeguard on duty. I asked her for the time, but she didn't know it, which I thought was odd because I could hear her talking on the phone or talking aloud. I asked another swimmer for the time and he said there's a clock right behind me, which I didn't see, and I'm surprised the lifeguard couldn't just tell me there was a clock to check. Apart from that, I enjoyed my one hour swim and got a reality check on how out of shape I am. I'll definitely come back to continue swimming and work my way up to the fast lane. This was such an incredible experience! I went with a group of 8 other people for the smash room. Staff was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They even brought us all water after. :) Everyone in my group had a blast. We all want to go back here again, and maybe add the paint splatter room or axe throwing next time. Cost was more affordable than the other rage room I've been to, especially when you divide it between a bunch of people. Great selection of materials to break. Great service and self explanatory. They had a variety of things to wreck from glass bottles to old computers and scanners. They provided hard hats, face protection, and gloves.
