On their website, the address is in Pinellas Park (not off Ulmerton). The parking is limited so be mindful. SmashBox is an innovative concept and something different. This is a great place to blow off some steam or if you have a lot of energy. You'll definitely break a sweat after about 15 minutes of smashing. They have objections such as furniture, glass, plates, etc. The tools you get to use vary from baseball bats to golf clubs. One more thing to be mindful of is you may step on broken glass during your smash session. This wasn't a bad place, it just wasn't my cup of tea. The staff was friendly and the place is tidy. I wonder how often the helmets and gloves are sterilized though... My 3 stars are based on the fact that this just wasn't for me. I'd been carrying some major stresses. I was about to come unhinged. I tried all the relaxation techniques, spas, baths, tea, blah blah blah. I was still a crunchy ball of frustration. I knew it was time for something different. I booked a half hour for myself and a coworker. The online process was super easy, and I was easily able to add extra glass and a medium appliance. We signed the waivers beforehand. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly. We made sure to wear long pants and closed toed shoes and I brought a lightweight hoodie to cover my arms. We were given gloves and a helmet/face shield and watched a short safety video. We were reminded of the safety procedures verbally as well. We were shown our room. There was a large cabinet, a bucket of glassware and a computer monitor in the smash zone. We were again briefed on proper procedure and got to smashing. There was a variety of tools at hand, which was fun. The angry music, the cathartic release, it was ALL good. Baseball bats, golf clubs, sledgehammer, each gave a different experience, and we tried them all. It was 'only' a half an hour, but it FLEW by. I was very glad to be wearing my long sleeves and pants, as bits did come at me here and there, but following the directions, we emerged unharmed, sweaty and our stress levels greatly decreased. I took my son and daughter. It was our first time doing this. The staff were friendly. They gave us a vibe as though we had been there before. We got suited up and we started smashing. I let the kids go first so they could experience it together. We had a blast! we will be going back. This time we did the Group Extreme Smash. We are going to try the Group Paint Smash next time. SOOOOOO much fun!!! My boyfriend and I did 30min and it was the perfect amount of time for 2! You can pick your own music, and then you get so many pieces of furniture and glass to smash! You can get a baseball bat, sledge hammer or a golf club and you can switch them out throughout your session. The owner is SO nice and my boyfriend and I had the best time! Wow wow wow!! What an amazing experience! We took my Dad here for Father's Day and had the absolute best experience. I believe they have it limited to 1 group at a time so we had the whole pace to ourselves. When we arrived, Christina, the owner, took her time with us and explained everything in detail. We were all geared up with protective equipment so felt very safe when the glass went flying! We smashed cups, plates, all sorts of glassware, plus large wooden furniture!! The grandfather clock was a favorite, and my dad really enjoyed batting practice with cups and mugs We feel like we got more than our money's worth and had plenty of time to smash everything in sight. Christina and her team have carefully curated a FANTASTIC experience from start to finish. It is easy to see how much they care about their business and go out of their way to make each guest feel extremely special. I could not recommend this place more! This was my girlfriend and I's first time doing a smash room and it truly was an awesome experience. Christina welcomed us and had the best energy -- she really helped to make the experience even better, even offering to snap a picture of us in all of our gear. We had two large pieces of furniture and a bunch of glass mason jars to smash! You'd be surprised at how much energy it takes out of you and how fast the 30 min flies by. All of the safety gear is provided. The only thing I wish there was more of was safety around your wrists -- glass flew and cut my girlfriend there due to the sleeves not being secured down! We actually didn't even notice until we got into the car due to all the adrenaline, but I think it could've been easily prevented! Other than that, I deff recommend and will be back when I need another smash fix! read more

I had a ton of fun (and a good workout) at SmashBox20! I liked that I was able to pick out my own music to which I could jam out and appreciated the safety precautions like wearing protective overalls, chest protector, gloves, and face shield since glass and ceramic shards ended up flying everywhere. It was a spacious area for Hulk smashing and my solo 20-minute session included a large piece of wooden furniture, a punching bag, and various plates, mugs/cups, and glass bottles. Weapon of choice include golf clubs, baseball bats, and sledgehammers. It felt greatly cathartic to destroy things with the baseball bat and hear the glass shatter. I definitely recommend pacing yourself and be sure to enjoy the experience! Will definitely be coming back! read more

This experience was amazing! We weren't sure if we'd be able to "let go" and get into it but after a few minutes we did and we felt 100% better afterwards. Highly recommended. It's I a great way to release stress in a safe (legal) and controlled environment. Also, this is small family owned place which made the experience much more intimate. read more
