But this had to be the best experience I've ever had with a dentist/ endodontist! My regular dentist referred me to Dr. Weiner for a potential root canal. I had this procedure done by him 7 years ago at his office near the Hollywood area. He has since moved to the Plantation area which is very close to where I live = convenient. My tooth pain began while I was traveling in Seattle and I was worried that the pain wouldn't allow me to get back to do it here, but I'm so glad I was able to. I called the office as soon as my dentist diagnosed it as a root canal. Cathy, the office manager, was very kind even though it was close to 5 p.m. - closing time, to contact my insurance company to see if I would be covered, which luckily I was. And she was able to get me in the following morning. These days you rarely get customer service like this! She was really awesome! Entering the office you get a warm comfortable feeling with the decor, ambiance and friendliness of the staff. There's even candles in the waiting room and the bathroom to give you that calming feeling. The exam room is almost like first class on an airplane! There's a TV, they provide a headset in case you don't have one to connect your phone to listen to music or what have you. There's even a blanket if you're too cold with the air conditioning. A fluffy pillow to put under your neck which most dentist chairs don't have. And because I have a back issue, Melissa the assistant, even gave me a small pillow for support and ice packs. I was so comfortable I almost fell asleep! Dr. Weiner was excellent in discussing the procedure, asking questions and is very detail oriented which I totally appreciate! I really didn't experience much pain which is unusual for a root canal! The procedure was pretty quick and afterwards I even got a care package with a bottle of water, instructions from the doctor and an ice pack. The overall experience was wonderful and it was great to see Dr Weiner again after 7 years - which he called it... The Seven Year Itch! LOL I highly recommend Dr Weiner and his team for any Endodontal issues!!

Dr Yanover asked me detailed questions about my symptoms, obtained additional X-rays and scans, and performed a meticulous examination. He was able to reassure me that my concerns were most unlikely. I was impressed by Dr Yanover's warm and engaging bedside manner, and the same is true of his office staff. Above all, I was confident in his integrity and expertise. With a less scrupulous clinician I could easily have ended up with a root canal I didn't need! I highly recommend Dr Yanover for your endodontic needs.

I declined the…read moreservice and was informed I needed to sign a waiver and that they would no longer do cleanings until I did the service. I politely gathered my belongings and left. No dentist should give an ultimatum to a patient, like a cleaning. I've spent tens of thousands of dollars are my teeth, I have a right to decline a service when it isn't 100% necessary. Added to the fact they sold me Invisilign to correct a small gap that they never fixed and blamed me for it not working. While the staff is nice, the fact that they cannot hold down a regular dentist should be an indication of their business practices. Would not recommend them if you want reputable and honest people working on your mouth.

My dentist referred me to Dr. Lichstrahl's office. I called and made my appointment with ease. The day of my appointment I walked in and was greeted and given all the paperwork to sign. I was called to see the doctor. Dr. Lichstrahl's explained everything and he recommended I come back to take care of the root canal that was done in a couple of week. He gave me a script for antibiotics. I got a call a few days before to confirm. The day of, everything went smoothly. I have to say I hardly felt a thing. He has what my grandmother calls "Saint Hands." He did the anesthesia and I didn't feel a sting or anything. He explained what he was doing and asked how I was doing during the entire procedure. At times, I felt so calm, I almost fell asleep. This is a very professional office. They do a great job scheduling patients and communicating with them. Dr. Lichstrahl is fantastic.

The root canal wasn't as bad as I was anticipating because it was done quickly and with minimal pain. His answers to even the simplest questions were laced with a self-righteous arrogance, as if I were a pest for daring to ask about my procedure. Other questions were swatted away completely, with a curt 'either you trust me to do this or you don't.' Never been so put off by a 'medical professional.' There are plenty of kind, caring doctors in the world. Best to seek them out.

Dr. Wiener consulted with Dr. McCawley and proceeded with the procedure, efficiently and painlessly. I requested NO antibiotics following the treatment. When I called the office the next day after experiencing inflammation and swelling, he promptly returned my call and again recommended antibiotics for the infection and called in a prescription for me. (Ultimately I chose NOT to take the antibiotics but to get alternative energy-based treatment to reduce the inflammation). The swelling receded after a day and all is well. I appreciated Dr. Wiener's office, his staff, his expertise, and his response to my call.
