We have been in and out of the office many times in the past few weeks to complete our work. The office is calming, modern, and chic. Every single staff member I have encountered has been super friendly, caring, and informative. They are on top of everything. There is hardly a wait time in the office (perhaps we have just been lucky, but I feel like it's probably a norm for them). I had not been to the dentist in over 10 years and I was really anxious. I knew I had some gum issues and was just afraid of hearing terrible news. My husband has had a lot of dental work done throughout his life and absolutely hates going to the dentist. I am a really anxious person and in the past have not had many great experiences with doctors. I always leave feeling confused, defeated, and lacking answers. With Brentwood Dental Designs this is not the case! I feel like every single need I have is met. All of my concerns are validated and addressed. They give you answers to your problems. They are sensitive to the fact that it is your body and you have the right to choose what treatments you would like. They do not make you feel uncomfortable, pressured, or stupid for making your own personal choices, like other medical professionals often do. Dr. Tamatha Johnson is the kindest woman and she is extremely gentle when working. She doesn't just jam the tools into your mouth and rush like it is no big deal. She takes her time, explains everything that she is doing and why she is doing it. This can be said for the entire staff as well. They really make sure that you are comfortable. I cried at my first visit due to nerves and had a sensitivity to the anesthetic on my last visit, each time I was taken care of emotionally and physically by the staff. My husband will be leaving a review of his experience as well. I wish that this practice was more than just dental, because I would go here for everything!

Two days later she got a text message saying that they didn't think it was going to work and told her she needed to move on and find treatment elsewhere. finally she got into another office and they, Dr Pike, texted her and said your files are sent over and we will miss you! This is after they told her to go somewhere else. This was after her training student bent her dentures and Drpike fixed them and charge my wife over two hundred dollars to fix them. I went to several dentists and called many more, but it wasn't until I found Epping General Dentistry did I know I had found my new dentist. The front office staff was great to talk with and found me an appointment quickly. Everyone has been with the practice for 5 to 40 years and to me that says a lot about the working environment. The care was exceptional, with all the modern equipment, techniques, and the hygienist was so gentle it was pain-free. I have major anxiety over going to the dentist, but their manner and care set me at ease. The office is clean, fresh, and low key. Nothing said "patient mill" and I actually look forward to going back in 6 months.

Called yesterday to schedule the final step of a multi step process and couldn't get in for 2 months, a full month after his vacation. Called a new dentist and they were able to get him in next week. I'm anxious about getting any dental work there if needed in the future. I will probably be on my way to a new dentist too.

I especially appreciated that she was transparent about what costs I could potentially expect based on my appointment. I was seen less than 5 minutes of waiting, right on time for my 6:15pm appointment (love that they offer evening appointments on Thursdays). I was "triaged" by a woman whose name I didn't catch but she was also just as friendly and professional. The equipment used to measure my eyes was all wiped down by the woman right before use, which was very comforting to know it was properly sanitized. The rest of my appointment with Dr. P was absolutely phenomenal. She was thorough with my routine eye exam, very good at explaining everything to me slowly and so I could understand, and she showed empathy and patience throughout the appointment. Overall, I couldn't recommend this facility and their staff enough. If you've been looking for a new place to get your eye care done, look no further!

After more X-rays - more than I have ever had, I am convinced that it was just a way to get more money. At my last visit just to pick up a mouth guard which I believe was paid for in full, I was told the day before I had $150 balance. Once I got there that had risen to over $500!!! I was told that they estimate the insurance payment. Well whomever is doing their estimating may want to find another profession. They charged me for an electric toothbrush & Water Pick, which I had to ask to be removed. I already had both of them. They try to up-sell at every turn and want payment before the service. On another note, my husband went to their Portsmouth office for his first appointment. They did X-rays and an exam. The dentist said he needed a filling and had time to do it. Well that filling didn't last a week! In less you want to be related like an ATM, stay away. Another thing that irked me was their staff took all the up front parking spaces. I only now this as I saw 3 different staff leave for lunch!
