I recently had my first…read moreappointment and found the staff to be friendly, joking among themselves and even included me in the back and forth. Check in was a breeze as I had no paperwork to balance on my lap and the assistant took care of everything with a few questions. The hygienist took the time to explain each step and did a through job of x-rays and cleaning, always sensitive to my needs and comfort. Dr. Ray took the time to go over my situation and made excellent recommendations for my own home dental practices. He knew what to recommend because he took the time to learn about me and I appreciated that. While Dr. Ray's office is equipped to handle quite a few procedures, I never felt pressured to do more or spend more, but I now know my options and will have more work done in the near future. I definitely rate my experience as 5 star.

I've gone to highly rated dentists while living in California and will say Dr. Deena shaped two beautiful veneers that are far superior. They are perfect in shape and color while still looking very natural, unlike many veneers that lack that variance in color of natural teeth. She's an artist! Their dental assistant, Kendyll, is also highly competent and friendly. Donna in the front office is always so lovely to chat with and is on top of all the billing and insurance dealings. She does a great job explaining everything.  Alani Dental Center is very fair with pricing and has never tried to talk me into unnecessary treatments, unlike some dentists I've been to over the years. This is on behalf of my 80 year old mom. She had them do dentures with the magnetic implants a few…read moreyears back. This past summer She went to them again to have them re-lined due to a lose fit. After setting them in place with the mold material, they became stuck in her mouth. the Dentist attempt to pull and pry them out until the pain became far too much for. spent a week without being able to remove them and recovering from the pain. went back for second visit and again the dentist could remove the dentures from her mouth and again put her in extreme pain. 3rd visit they finally were able to remove the dentures and clean out the material they use to form the reline fit. She came back home and never did have the fit corrected. she's 81 yrs old at the time. the still charged her $688. Dentures not fixed, and putting an 81 yr old lady through crazy pain, anxiety and distress. We have since moved out of state for family and home where that is ADA so we can take care of her. When called to split the bill in 2 payments they were upset. After relaying the issues with the failed procedure, continued to ask for her to come back in. 1st, after that torture why would anyone go back for more? 2nd informed them several times during the call that we are now out of state and nowhere close enough to go back anyway. ( still intending to pay the bill ) Even after telling them we would be paying the bill, the were rude and unapologetic. I assume they thought we were just trying to get out of paying a bill. Maybe they should have checked the record of the visits and issues. How can anyone do such lousy work, never complete the work the work, put an 81 year old mobility challenged lady through that much pain, and then not only charge nearly $700 for the pleasure of their company, but also get rude over the billing?

You have to be careful dealing with dental offices! Many people do not realize that some dental offices are owned by large corporate operating firms. These greedy firms pressure the dental offices they own to overbook themselves which greatly diminishes the quality of services. This also causes the dental offices managed by them to push unnecessary treatments on patients which drain patient wallets and in some cases cause awful side effects. The great news is that there is none of those shenanigans at Hurricane Creek Dental! The dentist there is an honest man with an honest staff!

About halfway through these procedures he informed me that I was the first person that he'd ever done dental implants on and I wish you would have told me that when I consulted with him about having them done. I have scheduled several appts and when I showed up, they said they didn't have an appt. I recently had an appt I scheduled 6 months prior. The office moved and I didn't get an automatic alert. I called to verify and they stated Dr. Chrissman did not work on the only day I had previously scheduled. They did not seem concerned and said I would have to reschedule. At this point, I told them I needed to find another dentist as they did not seem concerned about their patients.
