Right when you walk in, it's professional. The whole staff (receptionists to the dental hygienists to the dentists) are friendly and really go out of their way to give you the care you seek for. I have had issues with finances until I got my insurance. Even then it was still a hassle. However, they eased my pain. They offered payment plans when I had no insurance and they talked to my insurance provider to make sure I got the coverage I needed. Once all that was settled, I was able to book appointments for my yearly teeth cleaning to, unfortunately, teeth fillings. They really educated me on the process of almost every service. I rarely write non-food related reviews, but Smile Innovations deserves to be recognized. The entire staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. The offices are clean and modern, it almost feels like you're in The Matrix. I think that's pretty cool. After several recommendations from friends, I scheduled whitening session with Dr. Ma. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the receptionist and waited for about 10 minutes before being called into the death chair, I mean dentist chair. The hygienist came in and did her thing with the dental tools. She was thorough and made it as painless as she could, 100% pain-free is probably impossible. The new dental hygienist Erin is wonderful I told her that my teeth are very sensitive usually Garret does it by hand. It has been a long while I came in my teeth are probably got build up. I told her she can use the machine to clean. She knew it right away to warms up the water. Throughout the process, I don't even feel any sensitivity in my teeth. I have been going to smile innovations for years now and they somehow impress me more with every visit. The whole team is always very caring, they make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Garrett. I have been going to Smile Innovations since 2011. Like most people the idea of going to the dentist is not something I am eager to do. There caring staff including Dr Boyd and his wife our amazing. The staff do the best they can to make you comfortable and inform you about the process. For those of us that need to be distracted they have screens above you where you can watch netflixs and chill while they work on your teeth. Dr Boyd did a great job of putting veneers on my front teeth and even was able to adjust my teeth to hide my crooked smile. I was doing this for my wedding day and while the veneers were not done in time (my fault for asking about them too late), I did have a temporary for my pictures. Dr Boyd came in on weekends to help my with my temporary since it broke a couple of times while I was sleeping/eating. He even gave me his cell phone in case anything came up in the days before the wedding. This is a family business and they run it that way. My most recent visit was a cleaning where I met Garret. Cleanings are one of the worse about the dentist and sometimes I feel judge but not with Garret. He does it job well without making you feel like your getting in trouble for not be in the dentists for a year. My husband also had him today at his last appointment and said the samething. My husband was behind on cleaning for two years and Garret talked to him about several things was honest and down to earth. I also want to give a shout out to Laura who is also one of hygienists at smile innovations. Laura gets excited to do your cleanings she wants to remove all of build up and is so positive in how she interacts with you. She is actually the first hygienist that has ever made me comfortable and not judged in any way. read more

Very friendly staff, short wait time, good explanation of charges and procedures. At the first visit, they took something like 18 x-rays! Very extensive and good to have on file, but the piece that they put inside the mouth to take the x-rays is not very comfortable. I got a few cavities filled here recently, and they were very friendly and willing to cooperate with your personal needs, and the procedure did not take long. read more

What a shame. I liked the atmosphere, and the folks working there. Unfortunately I never had the chance to have any work done., Problem is they want to charge for procedures up front and reimburse the patient once insurance pays them. If you go here, be ready to fork over cash for your procedure and wait 6 weeks to get paid back. I went in for x-rays and a checkup which is 100% covered by my insurance. These guys stated the company policy is to collect $150 up front. For a family of 3, they want $450 up front for a procedure that insurance pays 100%. I canceled all of my families appointments and will make appointments with any other dentist in the valley as no others I have ever been to try to scam customers into an interest free loan for 6 weeks. This was my second visit and both times he took the time to listen to my concerns and offered me options and suggestions for my treatment. He asked me my goals in my treatments. The staff is great and the providers are all well skilled, even with older patients. I especially like that the crowns are made while you wait. This is by far the best dentist I have ever been to!! I walked in for my apointment and was seen right away. The teeth cleaning was painless but thorough. The chairs are very comfortable and they have a personal TV for you to watch with Netflix. After visiting a different dentist I was told I needed a crown, and it would require two separate visits. I came here and they made my crown for me and put it on in no time at all! I highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already. read more

I hadn't been to a dentist for several years after a bad experience but definitely needed to get back into the routine. From the moment I walked into the office they made me feel comfortable and welcome. Dr. Patummas talked to me like we were already friends and explained everything he was doing during the initial exam. We set up a treatment plan/schedule and they got to work. Since that initial visit I have been back twice-once for an emergency crown which they took care of immediately. I have several more appointments scheduled to complete the backlog of work that I put off but I'm happy that it is a pleasure to go to their office. Right when you walk in you will see the lovely face of Gina. She is very nice and ready for you right when you enter the building; knowing you by first name basis. Clean lobby and clean facility all around. Dr. Boyd makes you feel right at home and is very careful with your teeth. Truly a perfectionist. Can't forget about his lovey assistant, Lupe! She was so helpful on information that I needed to know along with answering all of my crazy questions I had for her. Lastly, that man Garrett is something else. Dr.Boyd is an amazing dentist and I feel so lucky to have found him. I was referred to him by a family friend and had a wonderful experience. I went to him for dental implants and to create an overall better smile. The office is beautiful and clean and they take all precautions to make sure patients are safe during the pandemic. My goal when first meeting him was aesthetics but after our consultation he brought to my attention that I also need to consider overall dental health, longevity and practicality of use. He was incredibly patient with me and took alot of time to make sure my smile was perfect and natural looking. If something came back from the lab slightly imperfect or not up to his standard he sent it back and made sure things fit perfectly and felt comfortable and natural. Highly recommended. The clinic is very clean and lessens the stress of being in a dental chair later. Having Netflix while undergoing some procedure is a plus esp for my kids. This is the first dentist office I have been to in a while. And it's for a very good reason. I have a big fear/anxiety of dentist haha but thankful they understood this and worked to get me feeling as comfortable as I can. I had my wisdom teeth pulled out and a deep cleaning so far and I'm not afraid to go back so that's a good sign!! They are very sweet the whole staff. I love my hygienists Elaine, she was patient with me even after I was crying at my deep cleaning haha. I was recommended to come here by a friend and I'm very happy I did. It's a little bit of a drive for me but it's definitely worth it. I don't feel uncomfortable and that's what I like. I feel like it's the cheers theme song when I walk in "you wanna go where everyone knows your name" and that's what I like! Definitely going to be my forever office until they get sick of me, I'm annoying with my constant sarcasm and wanting to talk while they are in my mouth haha read more
