We got charged almost $600 for a consult and they didn't do much other than tell my husband the work that needed done but they wouldn't do it without us paying for it all (thousands of dollars) out of pocket. (wisdom teeth removal and braces). We were even referred here by our dentist that they were supposedly a "Tricare friendly provider" We tried to explain MULTIPLE times that TriCare will cover orthodontic work if it is medically necessary (as it is in my husband's case), but Dr. Hull and his nurse got super rude with us and told us to pay out of pocket and then we could file on our own. That's not how military insurance works! We need the pre-authorization with the referral first. It even lists this on TriCare's website and lists that if orthodontics is medically necessary, not just cosmetic it is covered. All we needed was a simple letter that stated what needed done and why sent to Tricare and they would get paid directly from insurance. We will be getting his records and going elsewhere! I am appalled at how they treat our men and women in uniform and how rude the nurse and Doctor Hull was! When we requested the records they stated they would be sent digitally to our next orthodontist. I hope this actually happens based on prior contacts.... especially for the amount we had to pay for the consult.

I saw Dr. Michael Davidson recently when a tooth started giving me trouble. Turns out that was the…read moretip of the iceburg tooth and I got to spend a lot of time with Dr. D and his staff. They are unfailingly polite, prompty, and helpful. They took the time to help me puzzle out my dental insurance and figure out what was covered and how much and helped me come up with a treatment plan. Dr. Davidson is the perfect amount of funny and sarcastic in a way that takes your mind off the fact that someone is using power tools in your mouth and he has a real knack for pacing the procedure to give you little breaks to swallow, wiggle your jaw, and close your mouth right when you need them. All in all a fantastic experience-I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

A few years ago, I was about to start chemo treatments and I was able to call and talk to one of the dentists about how this would impact my mouth and teeth and any recommendations for oral care. They were great about answering all my questions as well as providing information I didn't think about asking about. This must be a wonderful place to work because they have relatively low turnover. Today I am waiting to have a crown replaced and am impressed how technology has changed and that this practice is able to make and place the permanent tooth same day.

Dr. Cook is the most comforting medical professional I have ever worked with. If you loathe the dentist, go to Dr. Cook. She takes a lot of time to walk you step-by-step through what is happening and what it will feel like. You'll always know what is coming. The only drawback is that she is not in any of the major dental insurance networks, which means you'll have to pay up front and wait for a reimbursement check.
