She came up with a treatment plan. I was scared and upset when I first came in because I was told I needed a ton of work, she not only put my mind at ease but saved me thousands. Every time I see her she answers all my questions and always puts my mind at ease. She is so gentle. My one grip with her is she is a little OCD, but I guess you'd want that in a dentist, she wants her work to be as flawless as possible so I can't really complain even though these are some long appointments! I have had an open bite for as long as I have known myself. I've always been unable to completely bite through food and would always struggle through meals that could not be cut with a knife. My open bite has always been one of my biggest insecurities but today my teeth touch for the first time and it was such a strange feeling that I definitely shed a tear. I consulted with so many orthodontist before deciding that Dr. V was the one and I have no regrets since. Every doctor previously dismissed my case as too severe for braces and told me I would have to go the surgery route. Doctor V was very clear and practical about my options and although she did point out that surgery may be on the table, she answered all my concerns and reassured me that we could try the braces route first. I have absolutely no regrets about choosing this office for my Ortho home and I brag about them all day long. The staff are friendly and they're pretty on point with your appointment times. I'm always running on a tight schedule but I know that this will never be the stop in my day that throws me off my timeline. They are reasonably priced and have great payment plans which they go through with you. I'm only 10 months into my projected 24 month treatment but I am extremely happy about my progress so far. I have carried this insecurity for so many years that it's so exciting to finally experience "normal" things like accidentally biting my tongue. Braces were definitely worth the investment for me and I will continue recommend Co-Op City Orhto to anyone who asks.

3/18/2022 I had a appointment for 10am which was made about week prior for a regular cleaning. I…read morearrived at 9:35am. First thing I went to do was confirm my insurance with front desk. During this time I mentioned to front desk I'd like to inquire about the cavities that I currently have during my cleaning. Throughout the 10 mins that I stood there with front desk, she constantly kept reconfirming me that I was covered through Medicaid for this cleaning but she have to ask her friend about the fillings. She even provided a document with the Medicaid code to me. I time and time again reiterated to her to not focus on the cavity situation now. After being called to take am x ray about 10:30pm... I was getting by another young woman. As I sat down I hear whom I thought was drunken man by how he was slurring his words say " you need to pick an insurance " I look back and YES he was talking to me. I then asked "how do I pick? I'm covered for this" instead of answering.. he literally walked away while I was asking. He kept stating that he doesn't take straight Medicaid.... About 3 rounds of that. I immediately stood up because not on my was his mannerism extremely unprofessional but I then felt very uncomfortable and bullied. Very very tasteless and nasty attitude. I mentioned that I've been to this dentist before and had an amazing experience and that's why I returned. I then told him that he was really rude and he asked how in the most aggressive way possible. I guess he had better things to do... instead of possibly helping me out somewhat.. Not only did I take off of work for this but I planned in advance. Very unfortunate that I had to experience this.. I had no problem paying the $100 in cash but I wouldn't dare let that person near me with that energy and foul behavior.

Had an appointment this morning for 9 am. I was called by this rude receptionist exactly at 9 am…read morethat couldn't even pronounce my name correctly and when I corrected her caught a huge attitude. I explained I was two blocks away and the majority of the time I come exactly at 9 the doors have not even open yet. She proceeded to have an attitude and slammed the phone down on me. I arrived at the doctor's office at 9:03 am. Tanisha asked if okay and I said no that the person who just called me was rude and not even an apology or acknowledgment of the situation was addressed. The receptionist proceeded to tell me she wasn't rude and then rolled her eyes. My family and I have been with this establishment for years even before Dr. FINELY decided to open the adult side. The receptionist on this side needs more training on phone etiquette and customer service. It is currently 9:18 and I still have not been called.
